Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersUnfortunately I did not enjoy my experience, honestly it was poor service. I was charged an extra hour and the removal boys stood around a lot. They had no professional communication and they also backed into my new neighbors roof and could not apologise to my neighbour which I am trying to organise to get fixed from my own pocket. I was refunded the extra hour I was charged but no compensation. Only because I rang and complained about the extra charges. I had to stand my ground and then they agreed that I was correct and apologised.

One man to deliver very heavy items. No communication ahead of time despite requests for an ETA weeks prior to delivery One hour notification
Disgusted with the team who came to do the inital packing. They had no idea what to do, we had to request several times to label the contents of each box. And that they got wrong. As an example one box was labeled 'umbrellas' in the box was 4x beach chairs, camp stools, an electric gutair. Oh and one umbrella. Also, we had many boxes labelled 'crockery' There would have been maybe 1-2 boxes of crockery, rest were pots, pans, crockpots, toast and grills. No box mentioned any such equpment. Even my mentalled disabled sister can tell the difference between a pot and a plate. The staff were swearing under their breath. They pushed past by wife many times with out an apology. We found cleaning products tipped upside down in a box, some of the liquard had seeped onto a good wool rug.
Initially your rep tried to persuade us that we could not send our goods from Singapore to NZ until we were resident in NZ. This was due to customs and fees which after a 5 min call to NZ Customs proved to be incorrect. Secondly our goods were delivered but there was no unpacking or assistance with assembling furniture that had been dismantled. Thirdly we still have wooden crates and boxes in our backyard waiting for you to collect. To be honest given up chasing you for service as it is all very tiring. Note your delivery people were friendly, have no complaints with their service, this is directed at the admin and management.
The truck arrived an hour late wirh no contact to tell me, I phoned dispatch 6 times for 30 mins and finally got the call answered to tell me the truck was running late. The two delivery people were very ineffecient, they took 30 mins to line the truck up with my garage! The non driver didnt seem to know what to do so he had to keep waiting for instruction from the driver of what to do next. So half a house lot for a single oerson took nearly 4 hours. So disappointing as I was paying by hourly rate and it almost seemed like they wasted time because of it. I helped unpack at my new place just to speed it up. I find it very wrong that when I moved from Napier to Auckland in April and had the house packed up by Conroy, picked up quickly stored for a week and delivered quickly it only cost me $1350, yet I packed my own stuff this time, left most of it for me transport and I moved 3 streets away and it costing me over $900. Very disappointed and certainly won't use Conroy again. Trudi Goodwin
New Zealand side very poor
Due to my mothers failing health. I havent been able to get back to u till now. Bluntly we would never recommend your company to anyone. I stand by my original complaint also the packing was atrocious so too was the way Conroy'spacked mums storage unit. I intent post on FB the way yr company handles your customers belongings.Look closely how the clearly labelled fragile boxes crushed under heavy items an the bedside cabinet now broken.
Not all of my stuff was delivered.
My delivery is not complete and feedback and responses are almost zero regarding finalizing this delivery
A truck picked up my household in Te Awamutu, the guys did not have the inventory and my friend informed them of the gears needed to be taken. That was Dec 6th. Early last week I emailed and was told Thurs or Friday for delivery to my place in Wellington. Its Monday 16th. No furniture still. No word from Conroy.
I’ve been told my goods will take 5-7 weeks to be arrived from nz to Melbourne now it’s been over 8 weeks I’m still waiting to receive a call for my shipment. Also according to the information Conroy company they gave me the time frame I rented a furnished apartment now I’m paying in another place because they mislead me about the delivery time frame.
i will never recommend Conroy company for anyone. They just nice till they get there money from you after that it’s all lye.
