Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI would like to explain my feedback. As far as communication and help with Sophie and all other staff I dealt with it was outstanding however :
after finally getting unpacked there are a number of things missing
1 new bar stool still in box ( 1 of a matching pair )
1 small glass stand alone shelf unit
1 large green wheelie bin fill of gardening tools etc
1 wheelbarrow
1 ladder
1 soft bag fill of cushions and electric blanket
i had high hopes after following through on a recommendation to be so angry now. I had passed on your name and the Australian company involved in my move to be a number of Kiwis moving home including my own daughter. I am very embarrassed to now have to pass on my opologies for stealing them wrong
I have used Conroy's services many times me before, however this time could be my last. The two moving men arrived on time, without introducing themselves by name. The removal of our household goods went without a hitch.
The delivery was appalling. They younger one of the two men was friendly but the older one was full of
attitude, unreasonable, lacked any verbal response unless pressed to do and dropped the "F BOMB" when my daughter advised him the had put some boxes in the wrong place.
They didn't take the care with our household furniture etc. They struggled with our fridge, made a small hole in the wall and a dent in the fridge. The fridge has been leaking since we moved here (it didn't before) we think the water tray underneath the fridge has gone.
There is a chip out the book case and the back panel of wall unit was knocked off.
Over 3 months later and still waiting for our items.... very slow with not much communication
How many words will this allow me to write because there going to be a few. From the moment the truck arrived and the driver showed no interest in what i had to go on the truck or what I had to say along with telling me the truck was full and they might have to come back later I knew this wa going to turn out as it did. However when i convionced them to take the load and they back the truck up the driveway and opened the back only to be a 1/4 to a 1/3 full it was clear this was not going to end well. nothing i said was taken on board or followed through. Inventory stickers pout where I asked them not to. Items looked liked the had been throwqn between 3-4 trucks to get them down the country. clearly no care taken at all. Every item damaged some extensively. I have dozens of photos to prove this. Over all from start to finish was a complete embarrasment to the whole company.
This was the worst experience I have had in the past 20 years the guys doing the job were only there to collect their pay on pay day and didn't give a dam about the customer. A shift that should have taken 11/2 hrs took 21/2 hrs
So mcuh of our Stuff Was damaged, dented, scrtached and broken, it is shocking, i would of never expected our belongings to be handeled so badly by a moving company.
i will definatly be putting and insurance claim together for this. and will not be recommending Conroy to anyone else
I’ve been told my goods will take 5-7 weeks to be arrived from nz to Melbourne now it’s been over 8 weeks I’m still waiting to receive a call for my shipment. Also according to the information Conroy company they gave me the time frame I rented a furnished apartment now I’m paying in another place because they mislead me about the delivery time frame.
i will never recommend Conroy company for anyone. They just nice till they get there money from you after that it’s all lye.
Unfortunately I did not enjoy my experience, honestly it was poor service. I was charged an extra hour and the removal boys stood around a lot. They had no professional communication and they also backed into my new neighbors roof and could not apologise to my neighbour which I am trying to organise to get fixed from my own pocket. I was refunded the extra hour I was charged but no compensation. Only because I rang and complained about the extra charges. I had to stand my ground and then they agreed that I was correct and apologised.
Picked up on 25 Nov 2019 but only shipped on 10 January 2020
One man to deliver very heavy items. No communication ahead of time despite requests for an ETA weeks prior to delivery One hour notification
Took much longer than stated, I still haven't received my shipment and it was picked up in November (to then sit in their warehouse for a couple months and not go anywhere). They estimated 2 to 4 months and we are now almost 7 months and no shipment.
