My stuff was delivered 5 days late, today it has a week since I called and complained and requested part refund, and my tall boy was wrecked during the commute
Furniture delivered broken and dusty.
No communications on delivery dates and times. I had to constantly call Conway to find out were my stuff was and spent most of the day working around Conway.
Also sent email with photos of damaged caused.
Was all good 5 star...until some of our stuff was accidentally left behind...these things happen but the total lack of communication from this point on was very disappointing...please send us a claim form for the items lost...
Absolutely digusted with the unprofessional behavior of the packers they didn't listen , dropped boxes and were rude
So the experience with Conroy started off really well. We had a lovely guy come to profesionally pack everything, he did a great job!
Things started going pear shaped when we sent a bed to Alexandra and the feet of the bed got somehow lost or missplaced on the way. I emailed the head office and i still dont have a response 2 days later. . . I dont know where the feet are or if we can get them back.
Then i received a call on Saturday from the delivery warehouse for the rest of our items which are meant to go to Auckland and he asked what day i would like my delivery..... I said that Monday afternoon would be best for us and then he tells me that he cant do that and lets aim for Tuesday instead! Why ask if you will tell me what time suites you not me?!? On top of all that it is now Tuesday, i cant get through to head office or the delivery warehouse in Auckland and my items are not here. I have no idea when the delivery will be and theres 0 comms from Conroy, no one is answering my emails or calling me back.
I would not reccommend such a disorganised company to anyone! Spend your money elsewhere on a company that doesnt loose your items and that actually keeps you up to speed with what the heck is going on!
Most terrible movers ever used. So many of our items just thrown into the truck and broken to bits. No respect for any of our belongings - my daughters dressing table smashed, set of tall boy drawers broken, book case broken, tv damaged, fridge dented. Nothing but complaints from the removilist all day about how awful his job is and that he can't wait to get home so he doesn't "get arrested" and desperately trying to just dump everything and go. I had to dissmantel beds and put them back together myself even though it was part of our paid service. Truck couldn't fit all our furniture so had to make 2 trips - slowing down our settlement process. Nick the manager didn't even have to common courtesy to return our call on Friday morning. I can't believe that this is the way you operate a business. Absolutely awful experience and one we will be telling everyone to stay right away from and making sure that people know about.
You lost a near new step ladder, legs for a coffee table, bed side lamp, excercise rolling tube and in moving broke a rack for wire baskets. We have phoned on numerous occasions to sort this out and had polite promises but nothing has been resolved or fedback to us.
Our goods were picked up in Auckland on the 3rd of November for specified delivery to the Coromandel on the 5th of November. The pick up guys were good. On the 5th of November, we waited at our house and our goods did not arrive, nor did we hear from anyone at Conroys. On the 6th of November a message was left on my phone in the morning from the Conroy's driver saying he had been unable to deliver the day before but he had stayed overnight in Whitianga and would be delivering our goods to Hahei promptly that day. We waited at the house all day, no delivery ! , called and left messages , got no response. Called his number on Saturday again, no phone back. Tried calling Conroys main office - closed!
Where are our belongings? Why has the driver not returned our calls ? Why have Conroys not checked that our goods did not arrive? This is both an increasing worry now as well an inconvenience
Your customer service follow up is shocking - a number of times I requested that follow up be made with the person being moved prior to moving to arrange times etc - it didn't happen. We also asked them to ring prior to delivery in Tauranga as there was nobody living at the delivery address again this didn't happen. The first we knew was when the driver rang from the delivery address. We had them deliver to my place after this as nobody was available to receive at the other property. Now means we will have to arrange another company to move it from here in due course. When I spoke to the driver about the lack of contact he told me that everyone is very busy - mmmm interesting comment.
I wrote to your office re this and zero response - so no I will never use or recommend Conroy's again
After we had 2 of your 3 people removed from our removal arrangements, we got an unconfused move done on 5 October 2020 from our house to 3 destinations- Napier where some was to go to the auction house, and some to an antique delaer in Wellington, and the balance to us here in Sydney. We got your questionnaire on 14 October asking 'How did we do?' well, where are the goods? did you deliver to the auction house? if so on what date? Did you forward the goods to the antique dealer? if so, when? When do our goods get here in Sydney? We have had no feedback on any of these things since 5 October! A month. How have you done so far? Not very well at all. We need to move furniture out of our apartment in Sydney and getting an arrival date is vital. We look forward to hearing from you. I am really unhappy with the service.They were more then 3 houra late when they had to drop of our furniture. When I asked them to collect the boxes they said they will do it the Friday and Monday they finally got to my house knoking on my door while I were in the middle of a meeting. Just dropping of one of our table legs that went missing , they left after I went to tell them I am home . They left the boxes here and we are still missing some of our stuff.
