I booked online a week before the move & I hadn't heard from Conroy's so I called them the day before the move & Peter told me the job hadn't been booked in so he went & booked the job in. Our 2 movers were great.
I had wonderful service with Conroy Removals. From the start Cam at the Porirua branch and Joanne were very accommodating. In Auckland, Falou and Rebecca provided excellent service. I recommend Conroy Removals.
Excellent service, timely communication, the three gentlemen who unpacked the container were professional, respectful and did a great job.

The guys we had to help us shift were very helpful and did a great job, just a shame the truck wasn't abit bigger so that everything fitted in , in one load.
We are a return customer based on previous service. This time was a liitle disappointing in that damage occured to the building front glass door but no-one made us aware until we were contacted the next day by an irrate building services manager!! We are now involved in a multi party discussion to try to sort this out, with talk of bonds being witheld, insurance claims etc. Looking for Conroy to take a lead and sort this out please.
Conroy was absolutely amazing. Very efficient admin. very nice people doing the uplift and drop off. I found that they are the only company available for small long distance moves from regional location to regional location. Once I found them, it was great. Other providers were disinterested and they referred me to Conroy....my advice is to go straight to Conroy.

Service was very good, employees very friendly and helpful. I still have one item (Box) missing. Some items have water damage.
Thrilled with Conroys right through! The delays were not their fault and everyone was polite and kind. However upon the unloading ... DISASTER struck. We had our sons helping and all was done in 2 hours but the employees did not appear to follow our instructions and our goods were not placed : they were just thrown anywhere and we did not know until after they left. They were kind, appeared to work very hard but did not work as a team : even the head guy told them several times to calm down andvtakevitveafy. Result was broken furniture damaged framed pictures and no packing undone or rubbish removal as promised. In saying this they were polite, efficient, and we'd recommend Conroys 200% but the un packers just needed supervision that we could not give: given one party is 80 yrs old and the 2nd party is 64 with a fractured knee it was "awkward" to be as mobile as we needed to be and direct the men more precisely.... but Conroys are a great form overall and we are delighted with the service just not the hiccup at the end.
Communication was poorly lost between the freight company in UAE and conroy movers. Once it was corrected the customer service was very good. More info could have been given to me about customs clearance times and estimated elivery. The unloading crew were fantastic. Unloaded a full 20ft container into storage in 1 hour. Was a bit upset about how the container was reloaded. After making sure certain boxes were looked after in UAE and treated carefully I found my expensive photo printer was standing on its end when being delivered. Even with arrows pointing upright on the box. Lucky no ink damage inside the printer. Overall a good experience and I would use them again for moving.
No communication from one office to another - Auckland and Napier.
Limited communication with customer service....forever chasing things up with them.
What you are told and what actually happens, from one office to another are very different.
Incompetent people.
Customer service great, until after you pay. Confirmation your goods have sailed and then told a few days later they didn't make the ship at all but apparently that's not Conroys fault??
