Good apart from fact I had to chase up what was happening on day they were delivering the boxes. Had expected a phone call in the morning of delivery of an eta.
"overall we were 95% happy with the service"
Hi there.
overall we were 95% happy with the service. All the people at conroys were nice, informative and trustworthy. Shipping time was great (better than expected).
the 5% we feel could have easily been improved was in the packing and labeling. We have opened a number of boxes now (probably 5-6 so far) that did not match the description of what was written on the box. Consequently two things that we needed for our first night we just could not find anywhere (Bed linen and cutlery were both in boxes saying kids toys which we pushed to the side). A few things could have been packed better too. Which consequently for our stuff meant some things were not packed with the small amount of care required to reach us in the same condition. Ie instead of an hour to pack a living room it may take another 10mins.
Otherwise we we were very happy with the service from all involved and would definitely recommend and use again ourselves.

"Not happy with this service"
Our first load arrived earlier than expected resulting in us having to pay storage while extra paper work was sorted. Our second load was held back while Conroys filled a container, so was about a month before shipping. Then the shipping took longer than usual, resulting in not the 10-12 weeks they advised but 18! The local delivery said as they had to unpack it would not be delivered at least until the end of the month. Taking them 3 weeks. As we have not received our goods yet it may be even longer, this makes it about 4 1/2 months since pick up. Not happy with this service.

I haven't seen my baggage yet, so hard to give feedback
"Thanks Conroys"
Great service in NZ, but my goods arrived in the UK on the 1/9 and still waiting for delivery. I have emailed the UK agent for approx delivery date but have heard nothing back as yet. Otherwise it has been an easy process. Thanks Conroys
"Thank you SO much for making this process stress-free and easy for us"
Absolutely fantastic having the team come in and pack up the whole house and shift it for us all in 2 days! The packers did a great job carefully wrapping everything up and sorting into boxes that made it easy to unpack. The shifting team did a great job carefully moving our items - nothing was damaged during the shift and everything was done effortlessly for us. Thank you SO much for making this process stress-free and easy for us.
"All went very smoothly"
All went very smoothly
The truck that was ordered wasn't big enough and I've been fobbed off wirth excuses about a bigger truck not getting up oyr driveway, even though a year ago when you moved us in we had a truck big enough to deliver ALL our combined belongings in one go. Both assessments were completed by Nathan Furlong so the argument I was given that the accounts/order people didn't know about our previous move are invalid. He should have ordered the larger truck for my belongings. Because the truck wasn't big enough it took longer to try to fit everything in - a mission which failed and quite a lot was left behind. When the truck and crew arrived I was told it would only take them 2 or 3 hours to load up. It took 4 hours, extra time I would not have been charged for had the truck been large enough. I asked one of the crew when they got here if they had brought their biggest truck and he said no. He had a good look around and told me he thought they'd get it all on the truck he had. He was wrong. When the load had been delivered to the new address, the crew were all set to leave until I asked about the remaining belongings still at the old address. They asked if I wanted them to go and collect them - well Yes!! That took them at least another hour, which I would also not have been charged for had a large enough truck been ordered in the first place.
Not only that, but although the boxes were clearly labelled with which room they were to go in, one of the crew "helpfully:" suggested they just pile them all in the garage or one room, where I could retreive them one at a time. I told them No, I wanted them put in the rooms they were labelled for. This didn't happen fully - that evening I was trying to find linen to make up my bed and finally located a box of linen in the middle of the pile in the garage. There was also a kitchen box right at the back of the pile which until I discovered it 3 days later I thought must be missing, and various other boxes not so crucial but still not where I'd asked for them to be.
Also, I have made a marathon effort to empty all boxes and have discovered that there is one box missing with important documents inside that I need to run my business - I work from home. It's possible that box was left behind and taken with my ex-partner's boxes the following day. I certainly hope so as I dont know where else it could be. Kyls has kindly offered to go through her container today to look for it.
Last year the cost of moving our combined belongings from Havelock North to Hospital Hill was $1530 - a much longer (30 min) drive and far worse access at the Havelock End with one or 2 flights of stairs to get everything out. I have been charged $1440 to move only MY belongings 6km, but in 2 trips. My ex-partner has also been charged $700 - $800. We have not accumulated any significant items of furniture over the past year so I am struggling to understand the reason for the $600-700 increase in costs, even taking into account that my partner's belonging are being stored for a week.
I had called you on Tuesday to query the account and was told I'd be called back that afternoon. I received a call from someone yesterday who had difficulty allowing me to speak and explain my reasons for contesting the account. I felt bullied by him to accept his explanation for the charges but refused to do so. He said he'd look into it further and call me today.
I look forward to hearing from you, and would appreciate the opportunity to write a more favouable review for your website.
Kind regards
Sandy Ross
