Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI, Lorraine Burger, Anthony's wife was at home on the day of delivery. The two staff members were super friendly and professional (think their names were Chris and Dave).
Susan from Conroy Removals kept us up to date all the time and we had clear communication from the company.
One point of improvement could be with even unpacking smaller items. I am not sure what to do with all the remaining boxes and paper as I unpack.
We appreciate your services and will recommend you to others too.
Carolyn and the team from Nelson did a fantastic job, I wasn't able to travel to Nelson and they managed the pick up the furniture from a storage and deliver it in Invercargill without any problem. The delivery people was punctual and highly efficient.
Thank you so much for the great and friendly disposition. Fantastic customer service. Is not the first time that i use Conroy removal and i will again if i need it in the future.

Everything went well , thanks. The only slightly negative aspects were: no one phoned to advise a delivery time for our moving in date;and one of your up-lifters got very grumpy regarding a misunderstanding over a large armoire that was part of our quote. I won't bore you with the details but suffice to say he seemed to forget that we were the customers paying for it all and a bit of empathy wouldnt have gone amiss.
We were relatively happy with the Conroys team. Unfortunately a number of our larger items were damaged in transit due to not being packed into the truck properly or not being protected properly. The packing of our goods was a bit random. Some items were so well wrapped it wasn't funny and other things were just thrown into a box with out any paper at all. The clothes in our wardrobe were just rolled up and put into cartons rather than a mobile wardrobe meaning everything now needs to be re ironed. The staff were good to deal with though, friendly and professional, but the timings were not well discussed. We were told the truck would be at our house at 8am, then the day before they confirmed 10am and it finally arrived at 11.45am, meaning the guys were then in a massive hurry to get it loaded and away, which I suspect is part of the reason for the damage to our goods. The container was not big enough for all our stuff so some was loaded into a second container, then from there into another truck meaning double handling and more chance of damage. Then I had to chase up the second delivery as, again, they turned up hours late and we were not notified. We would probably look at using Conroy's again, but would make sure more care is taken and that we were kept up to date with timings etc. We have moved in the past with a different company and had trouble with damage with them as well, so we can only assume it is an industry wide problem.
The two guys that arrived to load up were fantastic. When we got to Auckland the guy meeting the truck there was very late. Overall though the process was easy and hassle free
I thought the whole team were really helpful. The guys that did all the packing were really efficent and fast, but also respectful of all my belongings and took care to ensure furnature etc was well wrapped. They managed to finish ahead of time and then worked with your drivers to organise the trucks to come early, so I was able to shift out a day earlier which was really helpful to me. All the movers worked really hard and were nice to deal with. My table was damaged, the packers did write instructions on it to not drag it and to watch the legs, unfortunatly the instructions were not followed and a leg was broken. Having said this, the insurance process was worked and I've agreed compensation for this. I'm still very happy with the crew that helped with the shift. It was a big shift and they did well. thank you.
We are satisfied with ConRoy services on the shipment of our things from NZ to Australia. Everything was in good condition except for the bedroom sets that incurred some scratches. It should have been supported with cardboard before wrapping them.
Everything packed well. Very courteous and polite staff. Nothing broken on long journey , just a few bumps! The sofa bed and dining chairs that I had paid extra for to be sent down to Oamaru eventually were not ready to be sent, so Conroy didn't have to bring them .if the company would like to refund me the extra I paid, it would be appreciated.
I was given a time that my container would be delivered. The truck was at the storage facility at exactly the minute they gave me. That's prety good. The 2 guys from Conroy were very personable and stacked our possessions well. Thank you.
The team was friendly and nice but not the best packers. Instead of breaking down some shelving from the garage they put into the truck whole so now the framing is all bent and buckled. When unloaded in Nelson it was pouring with rain and the guys didn't cover the MDF board (the shelves of this unit) and so they got wet and swollen. One of clocks must have been dropped as second hand is useless and drops to half past all the time and one of our bedside cabinets made of soled wood has been split apart. Also a heavy light stand was put into a box with a lot of folders which are now all bent.
A little more care would have solved most of these problems
