This is the 3rd time we have moved with Conroy removals.
All goods managed to make to to NZ without any drama until we started to unpack.
When looking at options for insurance for an international move the big thing that jumps out is complete loss of the container.
I have to say that we are gutted and disgusted at the way things were packed in Australia. There has been little thought around making sure things are safely put in boxes.
I’m unsure if it was at this end or at the in between stages of loading from the 20 foot to the 40 foot but there was clearly no care taken by anyone.
On delivery day the contents of the container were not all delivered and I had to call on the Saturday to ask why and when we would see the remainder.
The person I spoke with said he would add the remainder to a run that was heading our way on that day (yesterday, sat 14/3)
The two guys that dropped the remaining things were rude and felt like they could not care a less and that the “add on to the day” was a pain.
When I told them to but the BBQ on a trolley to move it they ignored me and continued to push it while still wrapped. Being wrapped, the wheels would no move and have buckled up and bent the base of the BBQ.
There is a bunch of boxed items that are damaged due to shoddy packaging and now the BBQ is so badly damaged from them ignoring my request to use a trolley with wheel that it’s beyond repair.
This is not acceptable, especially when I have seen the staff conduct themselves with no care.
Please let me know your thoughts.
The issues we have are in my opinion due to poor quality work.
We would like to say that your company’s total service from start to finish was 100% and would certainly recommend your company to anyone without any hesitation. Thankyou very much for delivering our boxes safely and undamaged from Aus to Auckland
