Communication initially was good but on the day, they turned up late. The first item they removed was the master temperzone bed which they dropped down a stairwell which has damaged the bed. We now have to make an insurance claim. The bed was over $4k. Additionally to that, running my $2k outdoor BBQ along the grass like it was a raceway has also damaged the BBQ.
As we have unpacked we have found other items broken too. Our laundry baskets have been demolished and some plastic boxes have not survived the trip as were loaded with lots of heavy items on them. We are still un packing but no surprised if we found more items broken.
Packing was good but all in all, the guy assisting the truck driver, both on pack and un pack was LAZY. Dumping boxes in the garage that were clearly marked for specific rooms. They new my wife had put her back out but we had to keep getting boxes moved. There was no duty of care whatsoever. Un pack as fast as possible and get out of there. After getting guys to move a few items and my wife talkign to them about being a bit more careful it was like it was a joke.
The young lady assiting was great. She did a good job packing and was polite.
All in all, service was average to say the least and by being late and dropping the matress within the first hour, with no regard for our property was disappointing.
Jo does a great job at Conroy. There are 2 things that could be improved to give customers a better experience. 1. Too many separate emails when a customer books a removal. One email with quote acceptance storage agreement, insurance acceptance rather than being pinged separately which is not very efficient. 2. The ops dept need to improve their communications. It was after 4pm the day before my removal and nobody had called. I rang to ask for information as this was impacting on my ability to tell my landlord and others when i would be leaving. The customer needs to be better considered.
Gisborne packing end was 10/10 - the team were amazing and professional.
Auckland delivery end was terrible I'm afraid. I was hsppy to pay extra for quality service but it was appalling.

The service was very user friendly, staff at both ends (NL and NZ) made us feel heard and listened to and as a result we were relaxed and comfortable with the move. Any questions were answered promptly and comprehensively, furthermore our requests and needs were accommodated well. Workers involved in the move were pleasant, friendly and very helpful.
Unfortunately, when staff left our delivery address there was an accident involving the transport truck and our gate, it was unsurprising given the very narrow space and staff were very apologetic and said they would report the incident.
Daniel was excellent and the girls at the office very helpful.
Not impressed by loading out team

I’m disappointed with the time management of your workers. We were told the packers would arrived at 8am, so we’re ready and waiting for them. They didn’t arrive until after 9, after many calls from us to Conroy to find out what was happening.
On delivery, again they were running behind. We were told that they would be here at 9am, but your workers finally arrived at 10.15. I called the offices to find out what was happening and never heard anything back.
Things were packed well, if a little illogically (items from next to each other in the same room ended up in completely different boxes and labelled differently).
Spoke to the office in Napier regarding a missing cushion from our lounge suite, told it wasn't found in the boxes that we unpacked and returned, accept my fault, but must have found the cushion when they break down the boxes, they told me they get lots of cutlery and teapot lids. Quite disappointed, quite an expensive couch. Kyle told me no sign of it, so have to accept that
