Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersWe have used Conroys on previous occcasions (and done many moves, both international and nationally, with various Companies) and this has to be the worst in terms of service, communication and handling (packing/unpacking).
Repeated requests to complete the online documentation - although they had already been completed.
Poor communication as to uplift and delivery of our goods.
The fridge and TV were not packed although Conroys had been advised that they were to be packed. The 'Inventory and Condition Report' was not updated to reflect that you eventually collected both these items (I wonder what our recourse would have been had the items not been delivered?).
When delivered many of the hard furnishing items had dirty hand-prints on them. No effort was made to clean these off. This shows a lack of respect for peoples belongings.
Item identification labels were stuck on 'face' surfaces. The sticky residue is difficult to remove. The placement of these labels demonstrates a lack of care or consideration on the part of the packers.
Breakages due to poor packing. A lampshade was totally squashed due to having pillows forced into the same packing box. Stain marks on top of a (nearly new) white bedside locker because a coloured item was packed on top of it (we cannot remove the stain). Coffee table edge all scuffed. Various damages to other items. This was not a big move - only 43 items. To add insult to injury, we now have to chase around getting quotes to have the repairs done under the insurance we took through Conroys - as far as I am concerned Conroys did the damage so Conroys should do the running around!
The staff who performed the package and loading were excellent, courteous, helpful and performed a grea job. Very impressed.

Everyone was really lovely and the move went quickly and without any problems.
If there was a 10-star rating, I would give it to the the team that did our move. Communication was great right from the start and the team who did the packing, loading and unloading, were wonderful. We cannot fault anything. A special shout out to the youngest of the crew! What a trooper that young man is. A true assest to the company.

Fast efficient service. Goods arrived in excellent condition.
We were extremely impressed right from the beginning of the service we recieved - from our initial quoting too packing out in Brisbane and unpacking in Napier. Everyone we spoke too or assisted our contents was highly professional and provided us with reassurance that we were in excellent hands. We cannot thank Conroys and all the staff that assisted us on our journey and will not hesitate to use Conroys in the future and to highly recommend them to all our friends and family. We were very happy with the way the men handled our personal belongings, their punctuality and clean and tidy appearance. Thankyou.
Unfortuantley the overall service was quite poor. The one postive was Lynn in the Auckland Office. She was promot with emails and communocation. However this is where it stoped. The deliver driver called at 730am the morning that they wanted to deliver, there was no notice and it was lucky that soemone was going to be home that day. When they arrived they were in such a rush that that made my partner cross reference the box numbers, they also did not unpack and take away the package that was suggusted in my quote, because they were in such a rush the items where just dumped in our garage and we had to move them to the locate that we wanted. I wish that I could say the experience with our car was better, it wasnt. When our stuff was delivered they couldnt not tell us anything about our car, we tried to call the Tauranga brach that day and got no response. Our stuff was delivered on Monday. It came to Thursday and still no response my partner had to drive to Tauranga branch to get a response from whom I beleive this the manager of the Taurnaga Branch. He advised that the car was waiting on a structual inspection and that he was hoping to have it done on Friday maybe Monday, Monday comes arround again several phone calls to Doug and no response not even one call returned, we called Lynn who said she would try and get us through and the phone just rings out. It comes to wednesday again try to ring no response again and again, we phone the Napaier branch and finally get put onto a manager there who agreed the experience is poor, and suddenly a call from Doug to say come and get the car. We go over to get the car and he advises that we need to move a caravan out of the way to get to our car, I mean we do not work for Conroys and should not be expected to move other peeoples property. Not to mention not at one point did Dough verify our idenity to even check if we owned our vehcile. Very poor service.
Was going to send a note to say thank you for all 4 staff being efficient, polite and careful with my items. Got busy so this was neglected .

All good, just a mild challenge with initial communication.
Have an issue tho that one foot each of freezer & washing machine are missing. Was noticed by truck driver when delivered that one foot missing from freezer. He checked truck before he left that foot wasn't left there & it wasn't. Washing machine I noticed after truck had gone. I will ring 0800 & advise of this as well.
Conroys driver always arrived on time and gave us forwarning via text. They were very helpful at co ordinating a multi site and City to City move without damage occurring.
