Poor communication throughout process. Was not given accurate estimations of when my gear would arrive which makes planning very difficult. At one stage I was told 5-15 days but that was corrected when it was realised I was not living in Auckland despite me not having any business in Auckland and having booked for Christchurch. My consignment was held up in the Covid lockdown which was unfortunate and not Conroy's fault however I received no correspondence during that time. I had moved into a new house so had no household items for that period.
I received more updates from the supermarket where I buy milk and bread during lockdown than I did from the company that was holding all my worldly possessions.
When my furniture arrived it was damaged and of course I have to pay the excess on the insurance, no compensation from Conroys. Have moved twice before with other companies and didn't experience near the level of difficulty that I have with Conroys. Will not use them again and advise others to avoid.
Excellent service, professional personnel and pleasant, friendly workforce....especially with heavy rain at time of removal of furniture.
Experienced personnel adaptable and accomodating. Reasonable price compared to various other removable firms. Thank you!
It has been a pleasure using Conroy from our very first contact to get a quote through to the delivery of our treasured items from Hope Island in Australia to Rolleston in Christchurch. Lyn, Vela, Claire and Tory in Brisbane and Cindy and Mark in NZ have been very professional and friendly with their regular communications throughout the logistical managment and handling of our household goods. We used Conroy to move across to Australia only seven months ago and it was due to the untimely COVID-19 situation that we had to make the immediate decision to return to NZ before the borders where to close. So for Maggie and I, it was a stressful time in our careers and we appreciated the support from the Conroy team to get us home safely with such short notice. Great Service, was really easy to book and the price was spot on. No damage done to our shipment as well unlike most other transport companies. Thanks heaps
