On delivery day, ETA given 10.30 am. At 1.30 no one to be seen. When I have contacted the office in Chch, a "manager" was not shy to lie, simple explanation below.
Brian and Chris who arrived at the Conroy office before 7am were held by the "manager"for more than 3 hours in the office just because mr manager either wished to save money by finding an interim worker from the delivery destination and or no one local was available to deliver the goods at the time given by another manager 2 days prior and the day before by the crew.
I can get over somebody telling me stupid rubbish, but whn that person is not treating well his workers, who had to endure a more than 12 h days and I do not appreciate that behaviour
It always take one bad egg and the basket has a bad smell. All along th journey with Conroy, very good professionals. Thanks a lot
Firstly and most importantly Mitch and Jason that were onsite were fantastic.
They brought a bigger truck than what was expected so it would not fit up the drive in the new house.
We had to carry everything the 50m up the drive with myself assiting with my car and manpower.
Was expecting a bit more than I budgetted for as I loaded more on board. 1.5hrs to load 5 hours to unload...
I was not expecting the money for all 6.5 hours (including breaks) to be taken immediatly out of my bank account, especially a figure that I was not expecting.
This I felt was very poor, at least invoice the customer first and see if they are ok with it.
I disputed and David aggreed to reduce by 2 hours. This refund still took a further 2 days to go back into my account.

Your movers were amazing. We really appreciated how they worked around the delay on the day, caused by our bank dropping the ball (grrr!) and brought in extra people to get the job done. They even came back the next day to finish moving the heavy stuff upstairs for me, which I am so grateful for.
We were thrilled with the speed and efficiency on the day of our move. Our 'three guys' were great and made the move so much easier.

my container was over a month late but other than that everything else was great.
Friendly and helpful. Also great there were two others turn up to help. Good team work
