The service and kindess and general efficiency has been outstanding from beginning to end. I was kept informed, the delivery men were friendly, helpful and kind. Everything has been amazing. I am very grateful.
Most things moved was damaged and broken, I wasn't happy with your service, and I would like to argue that most items broken was due to mishandling, And not because of any other reason. I am afraid I can't reccomend your service to any of my friends or family. Because it just took my trust. Now I need to spend all my time on all those broken items to buy it again, Moving is all the about taking care of items that you move. If that's not happening there is no point spending on it.
Unfortunately a lot of our furniture has been damaged and I am absolutely appalled in the service.
Our daughters 2 sets of drawers were dropped, chipped and fell apart.
The day our furniture was removed, it was raining. Nothing was covered while it was carried to the truck which resulted in some wooden furniture becoming damp and has since bubbled. Wooden shelves were pushed around the ground which resulted in being covered in mud, and scrape marks and chip damage.
The legs on our kitchen table have a lot of scrape marks on the legs, i thought these would have been covered but clearly not. They are black legs so the scrape marks are very visible. Our coffee table was dropped and marked.
A pot plant (and plants) were broken.
As far as I know the only thing not damaged was our 2 TVs.
Never again would I use this company. I had used them once in the past to move a few items and my set of drawers were again dropped and broken.
Actually, I'm terrified at what I'm going to find when I finally unpack all the boxes of antique English bone china, when I have my cabinetry ready for it. I was quoted 15 boxes (after sending photos of what needed to be packed), and in all seriousness, they should have used 15 boxes... (and they should have used bubble wrap, not just newsprint), they used seven and a half! If I have stuff that has survived at the bottom of the boxes I will be very surprised. We couldn't pick them up, (which was our original intent) to move them, and got Conroys back again... to move them 5 minutes away, along with some furniture. The personnel were friendly enough, but when a huge box has fragile written on it, and Mr Muscle loads one on top of the other to carry inside, it's heart in your mouth kind of stuff. One trip.... and thousands of dollars damage to prized possession. Luckily he didn't trip. Two people should have carried *one* box, not the other way around. In both cases I think the pricing was over-estimated, and thus way more expensive that the actual time on the job dictated, given this was a labour intensive situation. (Even allowing for travel time to the job). 5 hours (i.e. 2 people taking the time they took for both jobs), 8 boxes and wrapping paper, 3-4 pieces of furniture needed wrapping in the van... for $1,250.00 .
Like I say... I am expecting to have quite a bit of heart-break when I get to the bottom of the boxes in a few weeks' time. :-(
All dealings with the admin. were absolutely fine, even changing dates/time at the last minute due to my having to attend a funeral.
Great service! Great communication! Made a complicated move very simple.

Communication- 3 voice messages left with Mary-Ann still no reply from here. Had to chase up when next truck was to be expected as no communication from Conroy. We expected a full delivery and weren't advised otherwise. Cloths, shoes had to be purchased as these only arrived 4days after the first truck.
Delivery- second truck no blankets were put down had to request and one was put down, carpets will need to be recleaned as now black marks - these were cleaned prior to us moving in.
Damages - sharp dent in the double door fridge from first delivery and the antique oak Butlers Aid had the top broken off. This cannot be replaced.
All in all the actual first part of the process was great and then it seems once the money was paid it all went south. Delivery guys were most polite and helpful just a pity about the damages.
Great service, great communication through the entire process.
