Even in the middle of lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, Conroy kept in touch with us and delivered our shipment a soon as possible after Alert Level 4 was lifted. Professional and friendly service.
Excellent and prompt service received from consultants on pricing, forms, and all information. Updates sent during covid-19 lockdown. Unfortunately, despite customer asking specifically to be contacted advising eventual delivery date and estimated delivery time period, (once movement restrictions lifted), delivery van arrived completely unannounced - no prior notice by phone call, nor email received. So unfortunately, last step in process (delivery communication) let Conroy and customer down. Otherwise would have scored 5 Star (excellent) review.

Wonderful every step of the way. The packing quotes, box delivery, the guys who picked everything up and the guys who delivered our belongings were great.
Communication was really clear and all of the paperwork was emailed really quickly.
We were caught up in the Level 4 Lockdown and Mark from Christchurch Conroys was fantastic to deal with, so helpful and kind. Was amazing to finally have our belongings delivered at 8am on the first day of level 3.
The only damage was to our leather couch, squeezing it through a too narrow a door at our Napier home. I have taken photos of the leather on the door frame and the damage to the couch, so hopefully our insurance policy will sort this out. Conroys made setting up the insurance and storage admin and payment really easy.

Great service, kept us up to date with the progress of our shipment. Delivery people were very friendly. I had no damages to my goods, a slight dent in one box, but the goods were fine. I would definitely recommend using their services. Thank you.
Lynn douglas was terrific, all along the way. Clear explanation of the processes, tracking the shipment, and made the paperwork easy when it could have been a headache. Helped us fill in the forms etc. Excellent communication throughout this difficult Lockdown period. And made sure we were looked after immediately when Conroy was allowed to get back to work. We got our delivery on the first day of level 3! Delivery scheduler Peter had humour and wit and kept things light and pleasant while trying to accom modate our delivery with the highest priority. Think Conroy has a good people working for them. Delivery team - 4 fun tough guys that carry very heavy boxes with apparent ease, were patient and worked well as a team. Dont know how many times they had to walk upstairs with those heavy boxes full of books!! We were very happy to see them, and they seemed happy to be back to work. Their team leader Tony was great - knew the best easiest way to set up and organise the men, to make it the most efficient (eg, walked the team thru the house /garage/guesthouse so everyone knew which room was which, before starting). So yes, I would wholeheartedly recommend Conroy Removals, and would look to use them again for my next move.
Outstanding service from both Australia and NZ staff. The communication, price, friendly efficient staff, fast and careful shipping and I highly recommend. I was recommended by someone to use Conroys and I can see why. You guys did a top job.
My initial quote said a transit time of 7-9 weeks. I have just received my shipment 16 weeks after it was packed in Auckland. If I had known it would be double the estimated time then I would not have shipped these items. I have had to buy things that were in the shipment that I urgently needed for work that started at the beginning of April (12 weeks after my shipment was collected, which I thought was ample time). Poor communication and updates about the status of my shipment. Extrememly inflexible with delivery date - I had to take a morning off work to be present for delivery as I was told that you were not able to say when a delivery could next be rescheduled (could be over a week). With taking time off work and purchasing items I was waiting for has cost about $1000.
Great communication from start to finish... Awesome service, packing and pick up service was awesome delivery service was awesome, customer service staff was awesome, no damages... overall I am so happy with the service I received and I'd definitely recommend Conroys... Thank you all so, so much ❤️
