To whom it may concern,
For those of you that are wondering which removalist company to use, I wholeheartedly recommend CONROY REMOVALS!
I used Conroy removals to ship all of my stuff from Perth to Napier (NZ) and then transporting my shipping from Napier to Mount Maunganui which went like a dream!
From the very get go I dealt with John Rowden who was absolutely amazing as well as Monica McKinley who dealth with the NZ part of my shipping journey.
The packer in Perth was amazing, John was so helpful & Monica keep me in the loop constantly!
Even the guys that unloaded my shipping in Mount Maunganui were extremely friendly guys that would do anything to help.

A really big thank you to Susan and her team, on a job well done, we had regular updates on where the container was and at what stage we were at all ttime, lockdown did not stop this company doing what was asked of them.
The hand over from Sterdts (Melissa) in South Africa to Conroy New Zealand (Susan) was fantastic, the ball was not dropped once.
We had one item broken, only the glass on a small photo frame, the photo and the frame were fine.
Conroy stick to the delivery times discussed the day before, no need to sit at home for hours waiting for delivery.
On arrival in Auckland the truck was not able to get up the driveway. The Truck driver (Ant) requested a transporter at 9:00 am to assist the boys taking all my furniturte and boxes down the drive. It didn't arrive. The boys carried everything. It took all day. I have not issues with those 3. They did an incredible job. Perhaps if they had the right equipment, my furniture would not have been damaged or broken as is the case.
I had to phone Conroys twice to find out when the truck would arrive at my Palmerston North property. I phoned Rebecca three times. When I finally did get someone in Palmerston, he was abrubt informing me that the truck would be at the house between 8:00 and 9:00 am. I asked if hte driver could text me or phone me in the morning to let me know when he was on his way, soince I was staying 20 minutes away. I was told "no, you know when he is coming now". In ther morning I received a phone call from the driver at 7:30 to say he was at the house. When I arrived at hte house, the front of the truck was dropped into a sump hole. My neighbours were called over to bring a tractor to pull the truck out.
The boys unloading the truck had not done the work before and were clearly in pain. I was not able to get furniture or boxes placed where I wanted them, because they were obviously in pain. Unlike the boys in Auckland, these two did not have the strength or expertise in lifting and moving furniture. It was painful to watch, at times I assisted them in how to move furniture through doors. Subsequently I am lifting and moving boxes and furniture. I live on my own.
The boys told me they had been phoned at 10:30 the night before. Again, no issue with them personally, under the circumstances they did an OK job. However, I paid for a professional delivery. I did not receive it. I will not be recommending Conroys.
