Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersIt has been a pleasure using Conroy from our very first contact to get a quote through to the delivery of our treasured items from Hope Island in Australia to Rolleston in Christchurch. Lyn, Vela, Claire and Tory in Brisbane and Cindy and Mark in NZ have been very professional and friendly with their regular communications throughout the logistical managment and handling of our household goods. We used Conroy to move across to Australia only seven months ago and it was due to the untimely COVID-19 situation that we had to make the immediate decision to return to NZ before the borders where to close. So for Maggie and I, it was a stressful time in our careers and we appreciated the support from the Conroy team to get us home safely with such short notice. We will definately use Conroy again if we return to Australia. Regards, Mike and Maggie Gibbons
I've used Conroy's 3 times now for furniture relocating and always been very helpful
Can't say I was impressed with the communication around pick up or delivery. I, as the paying customer, should have been informed that the pick up had been rescheduled to the next day, this was after I had already talked to the team that morning to arrange a pick up time.
Several days later I contacted the office to find out where my delivery was, and they referred m,e back to the T&C's that said they'd be in contact to let me know. My items ended up being delivered without any call to arrange a time/day of delivery. I was out at the time and luckily someone was home to accept this.
Also, on my insurance form I had to select a pick up and delivery date. How could I do this if it was up to you guys as to what days things would happen? Since I had selected the date requested as my pick up/delivery date, what would have happened if there was something damaged outside of that date? Raises some worrying questions.
We moved from Brighton UK to Napier NZ at the start of the year. We packed all our cartons ourselves and were pleased that all the contents arrived undamaged. Our furniture was export wrapped and unfortunately two pieces arrived damaged. The fragile glass cabinet we had crated, arrived in good order.
Unfortunately our container got 'stuck' at the Napier depot over the lockdown period. Customs and MAF clearance was arranged on our behalf and went well. As soon as lockdown restrictions were lifted, the Napier team did a great job delivering our stuff and returning later a couple of times to pick up empty cartons and packing materials, which was much appreciated. Really helpful and friendly guys on the vans. Particular thanks to Sophie R. at the office who was really helpful, friendly and kept us informed during the whole process. Many thanks.
Would have liked a little more communication with yourselves.
Phil and his team in Tauranga did a superb job for us, they were fast, efficient and a pleasure to have around as we went through the stress that moving always entails. We could not fault them. Moving from the north to the south island is an expensive undertaking but we felt we had very good value with this team. The team in Christchurch were a little slower, maybe not as fit, and didn't have the people skills that the Tauranga team and Phil have.
Excellent service, professional personnel and pleasant, friendly workforce....especially with heavy rain at time of removal of furniture.
Experienced personnel adaptable and accomodating. Reasonable price compared to various other removable firms. Thank you!
