Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersWe chose Conroy based on reputation of others that had used Conroys. Incidentally they we people who had moved city to city, ours was a local move. The team were punctual and courteous however they were somewhat rough with our belongings resulting in damage to our furniture and to our new property including breaking part of a roof overhang and causing scrapes along walls. Despite requesting 3 movers and the biggest truck, a smaller truck arrived that could not take accommodate our move, necessitating the supply (and additional cost) of another truck and more movers. We were also told on their arrival that they would not transport pot plants, garden gear - even cleaned tools and barrow, meaning we had to borrow a friend's trailer last minute, load and store. All of this resulted in a very stressful move that we have not experienced in the past by using other major removal companies both internationally and city to city, that were able to move us in one smooth transaction with no breakages or damage. My feedback to Conroys is to visit & inspect larger homes prior to approving a booking to make sure you have the right resources.
Conroys were very efficient right from the start with the online initial interview, prompt and very competitive quote, good communication with removal and storage agreements provided, letting us know the day before exactly what would happen on moving day, and that day going smoothly and on time. We were very pleased with their service and the polite and friendly removal team were a pleasure to have around.
Pleased with the service both directions, the staff were very attentive to detail.
Would recommend your company to my friends & colleagues.

We had not much communication regarding our shipment when it arrived in nz, needing many emails from me to get not much information.
There was a further delay when conroy said the other shipping company hadn't given them release, when they actually had.
They then made us pay another $2000, which we had already paid, as they hadn't organised payment with the other company. They said we either had to pay or they would hold our belongings until after Christmas. The payment was on the way and they just needed to have waited another couple of days.
All this while my wife was 9 months pregnant and trying to get our belongings in time before the baby arrived.
Very stressful company to deal with, would not recommend.
This was the second time we have used Conroy's, and they were right up to their usual high standards. From the moment they arrived to pack, til when they dropped everything off from storage, Scott, Glen, Skippy and the all the boys are a credit to Conroy's. They were prompt cheerful and so hard working. The proof of the quality of their work was that there was not one chip crack or breakage.....amazing!! Thanks to them all, and a Happy Christmas!!!
I was extremely happy with everything. Staff were great. If I move again Conroys would be top of list.
Very good service from staff all the way through to truck drivers,the truck drivers at wellington end at drop off were very helpful thank you again
Very streamlined service, but was let down with lack of information about customs Covid restrictions, placing me in a position of possibly having to pay import tax. If I known, I would have postponed my shipment. I did read the customs link provided and it it said I was able ro arrive after the goods were landed
From my initial enquiry, I felt a bit pressured into goods being picked up and didn't have enough time to think about things properly
They wanted to pick things up 2 days later !
Apart from that, if it hadn't been unprecedented times, it was excellent service and communication
It's funny that you are requesting for a feedback considering our goods have not been delivered to us yet. It has been exactly 12 weeks since our goods were collected from our house in Auckland and yet no sign of any delivery in the near future. Contacted Conroy here in Sydney and they were unable to provide any delivery dates. Packing and collection in Auckland was great but the rest of the service fell down the hill. Just really disappointed. I wish I have used other removalist.
The product left its depot on the 17th November and we received it on the 7th December.
When I rung (a couple of times) I got no answer to when it would be arriving
