Two places where I struggled. First was getting an updated quote from the customer service person. Apparently the person who initially helped went on leave with no one else to pick up for her. I managed to talk to another person who tried to get her manager to help, who kept promising but never got back to me. After following up four times then the person who was trying to get me help, helped me. Unsure why they just couldn't pick up and help me in the first place. Anyway, once all the paperwork was sorted, everything was pretty good until after my goods were picked up. I was given no comms, no info about what would happen next, when I would get an update, etc etc. Pretty much for few weeks I was left in dark. Then once my freight was booked in for a ship, then regular updates started coming. 

Apart from this, the experience was pretty good. The boys that came to pick up the items were on time, professional, packed my furniture items really well and were done quickly. The updates in Australia were regular. And the guys that came to deliver, fellow Kiwis, also nice blokes, unloaded quickly, helped put all the boxes inside the house where I asked them, being really careful not to damage anything, and again completed the delivery really quickly. 

So far we haven't found anything damaged. Some boxes were opened with no explanation but nothing seemed missing. 

Very professional. Guys were great to deal with. 

Overall very good to deal with and was a very competitive price with prompt delivery of 7-8 days. 

Would be good to let people know what to expect on the day. I had already prepared a detailed inventory and labelled everything and didn't expect the guys to spend a good 45-60 mins doing another one upon arrival. We ended up loading in the rain, which had been threatening.

I confirmed with the guys on the day that the leather couch and lazy boy chair would be wrapped in plastic as had been my understanding prior so I hadn't pre-wrapped myself. They assured me this would happen. Upon delivery I saw they were not wrapped and several scuff marks, which were luckily able to be removed with leather cleaner. I took care to shrink wrap my other furniture and had existing plastic covers for the beds from a few years back. I would have bought couch covers and done this myself if needed. Aside from one slight dent in the top of the coffee table the load arrived in good condition. I did note that the original loaders in Wellington and the crew who delivered at my destination seemed to take care in handling items and navigating door frames etc. too. 

I did receive a call the day before delivery to confirm a timeframe for the next day. As it turned out, the road to the north was closed due to snow and so I expected the delivery wouldn't be occuring. I was expecting to receive a phone call, however upon hearing nothing, I rang the office around midday. The admin then made some enquiries and called back to say the truck was actually coming from the South due to a prior delivery. They turned up about 20 mins later. Would have been good to receive a call that morning to let me know one way or the other. 

Very good to deal with overall. A few improvement opportunities for communication and wrapping items.
