My only improvement request is more notice than the day before re what time they would start the move. Most people are on very tight timelines to make everything work. We would of struggled ourselves if they had only told us then that they would come in the afternoon.
Very good at keeping in touch on progress of our household goods shipped from UK. Nice guys who delivered our household goods.
Hiring" 3 men and a truck" option with Conroys is 50% of the price paid for no premium in handling service. This is the 6th time I've used Conroys and won't be doing it again. Service proudly quotes "all furniture is wrapped in blankets". Reality is that I had to stand over and supervise to (a) get expensive furniture handled appropriately, (b) insist, insist, insist again for blankets on timber furniture, and maybe get cooperation (if I'm standing around watching), and (c) get some attitude served up for asking for the service paid for. Really disappointing service guys.
Perfect move could not ask for a better sevice and crew.
Our moving team Dave and Ben were great-easy to work with, obliging, polite and organised. Careful and efficient. Not a single breakage due mainly I am sure to Ben's amazing packing. Head Office services could be improved by having phone calls answered more quickly and emails responded to more quickly as well. When we tried to book someone in to do an actual quote, the relevant person was not advised and it was only a week before our move that we managed to sort something out with him-he never got to actually inspect the property to quote for the job so we will never know if we got charged appropriately. Also surprised that no one contacted us the day before the move to advise what time truck would be coming? And when we rang in it was like it would not have happened at all if we had not called?
Exemplary standard of constant communication and updates, addressed queries quickly and fairly, and demonstrated applied initiative and teamwork all the way through from pickup to delivery.
The guys were all cheerful, courteous and hard working. If they weren't sure about something they checked.
Nati & Saia were great! Very friendly & professional. My furniture was carefully handled & packed like a neat jigaw puzzle into storage.
Overall a little underwhelmed by a few things. In the end Jeff didn't uplift some pots and hose from the front door step so they got left behind. Also one piece of Lladro was broken as I noticed a very fragile box has been put under other heavy boxes. the guys who delivered the furniture on the Saturday were excellent and did a great job, a credit to your company. I was underwhelmed with the fact that when I had a number of phone conversations with Laura we had the delivery being done the same day but at the last minute a couple of days before I was informed this was not to be.... bit annoyed to be honest as it was my 85yr old mother who was moving, and this caused a little upset for her.. overall the guys at the coal face are great, but a little more service from the company in terms of meeting the needs of the client as agreed at the quote and initial acceptance stage, rather than changing ..... we were overall pleased with how it all went in the end.... just few minor things.
