Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI was told to expect my furniture etc within 6-10 weeks, it ended up being one week short of four months. If I had know I would have packed more winter gear, I also would not have rented a flat so early as I had to basically 'camp' in it for almost 2 months. I also could have dealt with that if I had had more communication. I had to keep emailing otherwise I would never have heard anything! I always got a generic response and no further idea on timelines or what the hold up was. One time when I emailed about 2 weeks after I was told my stuff had arrived in Wellington I was told they were trying to locate the items to be checked "If you know the box numbers can you, please let us know" well I had the packing slip so I was able to email back with that attached and say which one it was, but they should have known, I seperated all the things that would need to be checked (ie sea shell and vaccum cleaner) and told the guys packing it to clearly label! I was then told three times over several weeks that "MPI is inspecting your goods" on this date or that, I would hear nothing so email again a week later and told a different date for inspection, and then I would wait again. I had to try to keep one day a week free of meetings every week just in case so I could take the day to be there when it was available for delivery (since you dont deliver on weekends). If I was regularly updated I would not have had to chase. When upacking I found fragile breakable items in random boxes, like my large glass jug in with the vaccum cleaner? The one marked steamware and glasses only had about half of them in it, the rest in another box marked cutlerly and kitchenware. The whole thing was stressful and frustrating.

My dinnerset was in pieces my desk did not return to its former state and there are many things to unpack yet, however the guys did a brilliant job were respectful and did what was asked of them with a lot of stuff to shift.
Thanks to all involved from the quote, organisation and abiltiy to be flexible with times and delivery we appreciate your professionalism and sheer hard work. The guys who performed the move were dedicated to the job and as the faces for the business a great bunch.
Great service, friendly workers came and wrapped all my belongings and packed it all up, on arrival more friendly workers unloaded the truck and ensured everything was ticked off the list.
Conroy rang and offered to pick up all the unwrapping rubbish once we moved in which was a great help as there was a lot of waste materials to get rid of.
Your 3 men- Cameron, Kaiser and T were extremely hardworking, helpful and strong!. It was a pleasure to have them involved in our move. I would ask for them again.
Jo's involvement in organising the move also warrants mention. She responded to my queries very quickly and clearly.
Excellent service both in Australia and delivery in New Zealand
The price is reasonable, and I have no problem with the servbice. The only delays and area for improvement is in the sales and comminication. There were long silences, with several times the shipment was delayed (I know about the Suez Canal incident - but 3 changed sailings in one week!)

And the team packing up the house in Matamata were great but I didn't think it was good practice to twist the front wheel of my ebike to load into the truck - I thought you guys stopped doing that a long time ago.
Great communication from the team and system. The only comment would be that the estimated time of departure was not clear to me. With the shipment being part of a consolidated container shipment, it would have been useful to have an indication - if the container was waiting to be filled before leaving. Perhaps a note that as part of a consolidated consignment there can be a wait of a few weeks before the shipment is sent?
