I had an awesome experience with Conroy Removals. Right from the get go they were helpful, kept me in the loop and were very cost effective compared to other companies. My furniture was delivered promptly once it arrived from Brisbane and couldn't recommend them more. 

Very prompt and on time and very fast and effecient with the move.

Our moving team of Caine, Darren and Paul were outstanding in every area. They made the whole move enjoyable and stress free. They even forgave me for being over cautious about my grand piano. I would recommend Conroys to anyone! 

The 2 men that arrived to load the truck ended up having a huge argument with each other (including some very colorful language) and this brought everything to a complete standstill for aproximatly half an hour - I do believe they sorted thngs out though because everything went back to normal after that and the move was pretty efficient. A little disappointed with the timing on the second day as the team only arrived at the new place (offload) at about 5pm and was bocked for about midday? The conroys ops team did however send another team to help and even though it was 5 hours later than expected, it took an hour to offload into the new place without any damage at all!! That was actually pretty good work - our compliments to the team!!

First let me point out if I could rate the guys that packed our belongings prior to uplift seperately I would give them 5 stars. They did a brilliant job and we only had one little breakage during that process. Also the administration team that I dealt with and the guys that delivered our items I have no complaints with. 

We shifted house at the end of January and the bulk of our belongings went into storage with Conroys. When it arrived there was hardly a piece of furniture that wasn't pre-wrapped that arrived unscathed eg rimu/matai dining table, oak tallboy, kauri coffee tables, filing cabinet, office desks, not to mention the things that were broken. This all came down to the removers, as we witnessed the way some of our furniture was handled and the damage that was done to our old property. This included gouges in the walls and door frames and a large chunk taken out of one the tiles in the entrance way. 

The packers had clearly marked what was in the boxes and whether it was to be top stowed, fragile etc. However the movers clearly took no notice and just jammed things in anywhere. For example a large lampshade was dented and the hard inner lining all cracked, even though there were clear instructions on the box. Clearly there was to much crammed into the container and more should have gone into the overflow truck. I would never use Conroys again and certainly would dissuade anyone who was planning too, as even though the removers were only part of the process this is where all the damage was done.
