Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to others(Jason Shon Bennett writing on behalf of my mother's move to my house). 'We engaged Conroy Removals to move my mum from Christchurch to Auckland in January 2022. They were great to deal with on the phone, got every question answered and they followed up as they said they would. On the day, the two young men who showed up here to unload were friendly, helpful, fun and respectful. We enjoyed chatting with them, helping to unload and hearing of their adventures with the load. They were a credit to the business and if I could I would use them both to move house again. Alistair and Darcey were simple outstanding. Hi there , very happy with the service , Rhonda in Brisbane was very professional and always kept us upto date with all , Tory informed us of the sailings and Lynn in Auckland was great getting back to us with all the information we needed . and Peter informed us of the date to be delivered . But would like to say i was very impressed with the guys unloading the truck and they went above and beyound helping with all our furniture and possessions , the young lady that was with the guys helped me out so much ..Please pass on my Thanks again ..

Everyone I met, in person and over the phone, was extremely helpful.
These guys are amazing, courteous, ask before moving things, recheck where things are to go, they analyze everything first and then load and at the end double checked everything was in the right place - "are you sure?" wow - highly recommended. I've used the new gimmicky companies and these guys leave them for dead with their service. Phone answered promptly (not after three days like Man and A Van), didn't think my small job was too small and didn't need prepayment like Two Men and A Truck. Go for a well established firm with a history and you will get what you pay for not a team of guys just doing a job - this is a whole organisation, went out of their way in my difficult circumstances. I have used your company several times, and would again. However this time was not 100%, for the following reasons. Our load was split into two, each load going to a different destination in the same area. Because of this I did the packing, which was the first time I'd done this (usually got you to do it). I labelled the two lots of boxes for different destinations with coloured stickers, and you also randomly put a few stickers on, but not on everything and as the loads moved from truck to truck they weren't kept separate and got mixed up, so the delivery people had a difficult time of it. The big items such as furniture weren't wrapped or labelled at all as I assumed you would label them as you have in the past, and so the deliverers had no idea of what went where.
We have lost a concrete pedestal from a birdbath, which I am trying to chase up. Hard thing to lose one would have thought, again the reloading from truck to truck would have had an impact, I think that the Auckland guys should have ensured everything was labelled because of this.
The loading documentation was very incomplete. One destination said something like a box and a bag of blankets, and there were many more items than that, again no helpful for the deliverers.
We were not given a date for delivery, which made it difficult to know when to move my mother into her new home. They were small loads as my mother was downsizing, however it seemed difficult to organise a truck going in the right direction from Wellington as it had to go with other loads. If we had had to move in on a certain day this would have caused a lot of problem.
The workers on the ground were nice people, and did their work efficiently. The job needed better overall organisation is my conclusion.
Very smooth move, from beginning to delivery.
