One mirror had the back punctured and something rubbing the back of the glass during transit that wore the silver reflective coating away from the mirror to now show transperant sections right through the mirror to the back. Mirror is now scrap. The second mirror had a sizeable section broken off the top in the transit from the Christchurch warehouse to my home, as your employee handed it over to me when he delivered it to me. How on earth are you still in business Conroy. I will always remember the Conroy name with this awful experience, and avoid it at all costs!
Outstanding service from start to finish. Very helpful over phone with quotes and queries, and on the day the movers (Chase & Shane) provided an efficient professional service. They were fast yet careful hard workers with great attitudes and customer service, resulting in a smooth and enjoyable house move experience for us. Thank you Conroy's. We will highly recommend you. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 bookcases were scratched, clearly in storage. The delivery men scratched my wall in two places. They put heavy cardboard boxes in my storage cage but didn't ask me about access to my suitcases in the cage - which was blocked - until it was too late. I have to say they were pleasant and polite, and am pleased that Conroys undertook to get the scratched furniture repaired - and Derek promptly answered me promising to repay the wall damage repairs. But really none of this should have happened in the first place. I have yet to unpack a lot or my stuff and will report back if there is any damage here.

The NZ part was nice, but my stuff hasn't actually arrived yet....
The pick up on Friday afternoon collected most items , just a table and bookcase left behind because not enough room.
The guys said that they would return soon to collect it.
3 hours later no one had returned. I left a message for Shane and he texted back at 7.34pm saying that it would be collected in the morning.
It was really good to get his text and he picked it up at 8.00am. Good service- He actually said what he said he would do.
The guys on Friday night should have phoned and said " sorry delayed and will pick up tomorrow"
Good service is about keeping people informed and doing what you say you will do OR explaining why there is a change.
Delivery to Auckland was at expected time with a phone call 1 Hour before delivery

I was happy with customer service and arranging the pack up etc as I was not able to be there myself. The transit time and delivery people were fantastic but now I have unpacked I am not happy.
Valuable ceramics were packed with other hard things such as a side table, one is broken. A wet outdoor basket was packed on top of white bed linen which is now mouldy.
Clothing on coat hangers was not packed in the usual 'hanging' boxes that I have seen for previous removals, and has all arrived crushed.
Large boxes were packed with a range of large and small loose items ie a PC hub was unwrapped and in the bottom of a box also containing cosmetics, bathroom items
and a small side table meaning it was under many items. Odd!
Excellent service overall. Kept me informed throughout the whole process.
