If I do however can make a comment/suggestion it would be to perhaps have "more hands on deck" during removal and delivery. Just more guys helping to load and unload.
Otherwise very good service and I am a satisfied customer.
But I nearly scored the overall experience a 1 star before I decided to score Conroys alone. You were fantastic, lovely friendly NZ removal team, quick and efficient and kept us informed every step of the way. Your UK partner Robinsons however didn't inform us at all about delays until chased and have just slapped. $1,120 invoice on the table - apparently I have to pay for their delay in picking up my container from the uk port- I understand COViD amd a lack of HGV drivers (a stupidity of Brexit) have made things difficult for them, but it seems I am to bare all of the consequent risk and cost. I have forewarded their email to you separately. I am spitting feathers about that, but they have me over a barrel - no pay no delivery.
Everyone was helpful, professional and efficient.
Service was great thank you! Only build would be that the AU team was back & forth with me on access to the delivery address and wanting to charge an additional fee despite the access being compliant with the paramters outlined in the quote
Excellent experience all around. Thorough job, no breakages, prompt and efficient upload and unload. Even collected used boxes. Friendly team and hard workers.
My only slight negative comment was around packing. George packed on his own, but did a great job. However he finished up early and had to come back on upload day. Turned up after the movers, and had to go to another job after an hour or two, leaving a bit of stuff unpacked. Would have been good to get the whole job done, as what he did do was good.
The boxes did not arrive door to door as expected, dropped off some 20 km away. The boxes when picked up were somewhat worse for wear. Several smashed items that were well packed.
They pulled out all stops to fit me in before our tenancy ended, even with me contacting them at the 11th hour.
The crew turned up on time and were efficient and careful moving my stuff
Our shipment arrived last Friday afternoon, over 3 months after the pick up in HCMC, Vietnam.
We were extremely disappointed to find that both crates had suffered water damage and many of the cartons inside them were completely soaked and literally falling apart.
The damage to items inside was considerable. Many items were wet and very mouldy, and everything had a strong smell of mould.
Most of these items are no longer useable. My wife has discarded 10 pairs of shoes and 14 items of clothing. We managed to clean the mould from many other items.
What recourse do we have for compensation?
We did not take out insurance, but in this case it appears to be negligence in the storage of our crates that has led to the damage and not an accidental incident.

Jeremy and Adrienne Angland.
The customer service has really been the biggest let down. I initially sent an online enquiry about our upcoming move and stated I wanted packing and moving. I received a reply with a link to book my move. moving day came and I was told that no packing had been booked and they were blaming me for not booking it properly. They managed to get one person to come pack and said the move would now be the next day. They sent me a quote that evening. The next day came and I got a phone call from the office demanding immediate payment or they would not pick up the boxes. Already a day behind I had no choice but to pay. Everything went into storage for a few weeks. While unloading I saw one of the movers drop our brand new baby cot. I was feeding my 4 month old when I saw it happen. They didn't tell me there was any damage. When we moved out of storage we were reluctant to use Conroy's again but thought if anything had happened it would be best to just deal with one company. After the move was completed to our new home I saw our cot had been so badly damaged we couldn't put it together. I contact Conroy's and advised that yes while dropping is an accident the cot wasn't even protected or packaged in anyway as I expected (they packaged everything in our last move when we used them) this makes them libable as they are the professionals. I received one response to advise they are looking into it. No further response received. Not happy at all.
The whole Conroy's team were fantastic to deal with. They did a thorough and careful job and our move went exactly to plan.
