Disgusted by the handling of the insurance claim we lodged. Damage which was clearly at the fault of Conroys, Packington container so that damage was sustained to motorbike, an offer that was far below what it will take to repair the damage and removal of the excess from the proposed settlement when this is not damage due to an accident but negligence on conroys part.
Couch was damaged and broken in transit. I contacted the branch who said they would look into this for me. Still waiting for them to call me back over a month later.I did not take insurance - instead 'owners risk' - however to break the arm off a wooden couch and splinter the wood shows an absolute lack of care for the goods - so believe the removal team have not done their job properly.
The service was great from the initial phone call to book the work. It was easy dropping off the goods and the man at the depot was really helpful. The man and lady that delivered teh goods were also nice and friendly. Everything arrived in one piece - so fantantastic!! Thank you
Excellent service and the boys were really helpfull
Really nice guys doing the uplift and delivery and the cheapest company I found to transport a chest of draws, but communication about uplift/delivery not so good and the draws were scratched on the top surface during the process.
Thanks to Tim, Isaac and Jamie for helping with the move, and the other two guys who helped at the Nelson side. The move was tricky as the first house was beach access only. I had recommended the truck go low on the hard sand and make the turn from there, but the truck turned in the soft sand and got stuck, but it was going again in only about 10 minutes. The guys did a great job in terms of packing and were friendly, polite and efficient. They packed more than I had expected. I also appreciated the extra effort to make sure we unloaded on the same day. I tried to help out by unwrapping and folding blankets but this meant that I wasn't directing as much as I could have mean, as one of the guys kindly pointed out to me, so a few things ended up upstairs instead of downstairs and vice versa.
My only real suggestion for improvement was in regards to the fridge. The guy said not to turn it on for two hours, to let it settle, however, he pushed it back into its alcove before turning it on. It was a bit of an effort for me to pull it out again to turn it on, after a long day. Overall though, really happy with the service, thank you.
Very pleased with the service. It is second time we have used Conroy's. On both occasions our contents have been returned us without a single piece of damage
Poor communication and took far longer than expected. Also missing at least 3 items/boxes.
Paul the driver and the young man helping had a great attitude and were super friendly and helpful.
