The guys at Conroy were totally awesome, every step of the way, I was incredibly impressed with their communication, punctuality, efficiency and superior packing skills, at both ends (my stuff was going into storage). The price of the whole process was by far the cheapest comparatively to other companies I looked into, in as much as 50%. Thanks Conroy, highly recommended by my family and I, would choose you again in a heart beat.
Christine came to assess the amount of items that needed to be moved, this was a very positive experience and the quote was prepared in a very timely manner. Unfortunately from there I had a very negative experience. I will not be recommending that people do not use your service

The guys were great. Unfortunately they broke an internet cable that hangs across our driveway and serves our neighbour. I did my best to coordinate the wire being lifted above the truck height, which it was but the wire got caught on a flap of broken rubber hanging up from the upside of the truck's rear. This caused the wire to snap, the internet connection to fail and, considering they operate their business from hom, it has caused them distress. I agreed to pay for the repair (now completed by Chorus but bill yet to be invoiced). Would Conway's be prepared to make a contribution to this cost please?
A lot of our big furniture items got very scratched as they hadn't been wrapped and secured in the blankets properly. A few furniture items were not covered in plastic and are now filthy and stained. Our dining table, tv unit, and baby's crib are really quite damaged with scratches which is very disappointing. Our antique record player that was clearly labelled 'fragile' and 'to stay upright', had been stored upside down in the truck, and the inside got broken due to the rough handling. A few smaller items had been bent to fit inside boxes (including antique taxidermy), so they have also been damaged. More care needs to be taken when packing, loading and unloading to ensure fragile items are safe and instuctions are followed. On delivery, I noticed that the blakets were all removed, then furniture was dragged out of the truck which resulted in scratching. I would possibly use your services again, but would keep a closer eye as things are packed and delivered to ensure thye don't get damaged.
