Execellent service & communication right from the time of receiving a quote until delivery at our new address. The 2 men who picked up & delivered were efficient & courteous & could not fault any part of the operation.Would recommend their services.
Very professional company and every staff member was awesome to deal with
Whilst I have answered yes to the above questions it would have to be under different conditions. Gordon the person who managed our shift was very good to deal with but unfortunately we had a number of items damaged during the shift, a smashed TV cabinet, broken handle on our bedroom side table, wripped portion on 1 of our lounge suites and a gouge out of another portion of the same lounge suite which is obviously very disappointing.
I would also add that the perosn helping pack the truck in Cromwell, a local as I understand it, was an older man but was very rough with some of our items so when we saw the damage that had occurred we werent surprised.
Great staff very helpful. Just one table top damaged otherwise very good.
The good:- Very efficient packing and uplift, delivery from warehouse to final destination was understaffed (understandably due to Omicron).- Well staffed, well planned throughout (except for delivery) and reasonable pricing. These guys are pros.
The not so good:- Two big furniture items, ie a queen size mattress and 3 seater leather couch were overlooked and not packed prior to uplift. Resulted in a missing leg, torn base, heavily scratched leather couch, and a very dirty mattress (as inevitably these stuff will have some contact with the tarmac). - Packing is generally safe but wasteful in materials. Ended up with 6 boxes of paper waste- Will only communicate timing on the day prior to move.
What a brilliant morning I've had receiving our container of goods from the Conroy Australia team.
I'm sure there are other means...but I would ask that you extend my sincerest thanks & gratitude through the right channels to the team of 4 gents that attended, unloaded and unpacked the delivery this morning. They were friendly, professional and very diligent.
You often hear horror relocation stories...but I can honestly say, those people couldn't have used Conroy!!
The NZ team who packed us up in Howick just over 8 months ago were fabulous, the admin / storage team who kept us updated, great too and then today's seamless delivery was my Easter delight!! Can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to sitting on a couch and sleeping on a real bed ;-)
Honestly, what an overall pleasurable relocation experience...and not that we're planning on doing it anytime soon, but if these standards remain, it's a no-brainer which company I'll use again!
Hope you and your family are well. Wishing you all a very happy Easter break.
Thanks again
The move went well. Thank you very much.
The Sydney Branch were fablous, the Christchurch however really let you guys down. I delt with Mandeep who really needs some coaching/training on customer service. She was incredibly rude. Zero active listening skills. Daniel then contacted me, to begin with was a little bit of a rough start however it appreared that things would get back on track. The kicker, I was promised a call by him to confirm drop off yesterday (Tuesday 12 April) by the Operations Team and I'm still waiting.
Side note, I'm a little bit perplexed why I've received this survey given final delivery hasn't occurred.
Very quick to respond and help while sorting a quote, however that is where the customer service stops. The afternoon before the scheduled move there was no communication of pick up time, I called and was told that someone would contact me on the day of move, impossible to plan around this. The guys who picked up the goods were fine, but then radio silence. Almost three weeks later I was calling daily for updates, the ladies on the phone were nice but were unable to provide an ETA or location of my goods and just told me to keep waiting. When the goods finally arrived the boxes were all bashed and there was damage to drawers and a fabric headboard was torn. Glasses were broken in boxes that had been insanely well packaged and wrapped with bubble wrap in their own boxes inside the main box, which gives me an idea of how they must through the goods around. The insurance excess is $250 and judging by other's experiences I am not sure that is a path I have the energy to pursue. I would 100% not recommend, at the very least you should be able to provide tracking or transit updates to your customers.
The packing was interesting... Firstly, I was disapointed that after politely asking the two guys to wear masks, one work the mask around his chin for most of the day, and the other just wouldn't wear one (mask exemption apparently, eyeroll). I was in a precarious position of knowing there there were/are very limited ferry sailings available, and if I'd had to postpone moving due to having covid, it would have been weeks before I could get another ferry sailing. Also, two very different approaches from the two packers. One used miles and miles of paper for wrapping non-breakable objects (such as plastic cups), the other didn't use nearly enough - for example, he placed 3 large ceramic garden planters one inside the other, with minimal packing, and with a HAMMER loose in the same box. FFS. The ceramic planters are now totally jammed together, and the largest one has a large crack in it. Also, one of the guys dragged a heavy cabinet across my kitchen floor, scratching the floor. I was told to phone somebody else to sort it out, which I have not gotten around to doing. Bit annoyed that this became my job to sort.
Delivery was late, and very poorly communicated. I had delayed starting my new job by a day, so I could be at home on the scheduled day for the delivery of my stuff. Some guy in Tauranga even rang me in the morning to confirm their delivery time of "lunchtime". At 2pm, wondering where they delivery team was, I contacted the office person, who discovered that my container had not even left the South Island! I get that covid has disrupted services (see above), but seriously, how did nobody think to let me know, especially after phoning me to tell me just that morning that it was on it's way!
Hi the two men that did the removal are top men they were on the ball super efficient friendly and very nice I would recommend to anyone please pass on my thanks to them.
