This was a pick up for the furniture to go into storage. The pack staff were friendly and efficient and the loading into the container was a breeze.Special kudos to the driver. Unfortunately we didn't get his name.Conroy's office kept in touch the whole time, making sure everything was going to plan.
Initial problems with first point of call led to some frustration but was quickly solved by other staff members. It is important that you stick to delivery planning given as this is how we pack stuff or decide to send by NZ mail if goods are needed. There were some hassles but solved appropriately and I ended up getting my delivery within 7-10 working days and not the Friday after Labour Weekend, puck up was 6th October.
Really great guys at either end. Diligent and cheerful, couldn't fault the service. Good price too. Office staff great too, thanks!
I have had a number of moves between Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Newcastle and New Zealand
but this was probably my most relaxed move thanks to your very helpful people. Thank you.
Good price and quick service. A little disappointed that a lot of our furniture had marks and minor damage and all boxes had corners caved in. Thankfully nothing inside the boxes was damaged. We had insurance but the scuffs on the furniture aren't worth the excess for a claim.
The delivery crew were super friendly and professional. Not sure when the damage occured - maybe just during transit.
Communications lacking between crews who misplaced a vital part of our bed after dismantling it. The beds weren't set back up as just left tied up against the wall in the bedroom, they are quite heavy and would have been nice to have the furniture placed properly in the bedroom reassembled and mattresses on them (same as they were found).
Fridge was badly dented in the front door, leather lazy boy chairs badly scuffed, and large chip in the bedroom side dresser. More care needs to be taken with applicances and furniture.
I do recommend this company communication was good and packers were great.
on arrival to Brisbane we did find some breakages unfortunately and noticed these were not wrapped.
The guys on the truck were awesome , it was a huge walk to take the gears to the house , but did well
Maybe they need more trolleys as they only had one
Also expected time of arrival was 10-11am and the truck turned up after 12pm
This is our second time using Conroys. During the first move, our tv was damaged. The second time, our microwave was smashed as it was being loaded - before it even made transit, We're mindful that there is always a risk and insurance is an option available to us, but at what point does duty of care take precedent? The packing/unpack teams in Wellington and Christchurch were very friendly, cheerful and hard-working. They're all a credit to your company. We are still waiting to hear back from the sales rep who was going to speak to operations about our microwave, it's been almost a week now.
