on arrival to Brisbane we did find some breakages unfortunately and noticed these were not wrapped.
The guys on the truck were awesome , it was a huge walk to take the gears to the house , but did well
Maybe they need more trolleys as they only had one
Also expected time of arrival was 10-11am and the truck turned up after 12pm
This is our second time using Conroys. During the first move, our tv was damaged. The second time, our microwave was smashed as it was being loaded - before it even made transit, We're mindful that there is always a risk and insurance is an option available to us, but at what point does duty of care take precedent? The packing/unpack teams in Wellington and Christchurch were very friendly, cheerful and hard-working. They're all a credit to your company. We are still waiting to hear back from the sales rep who was going to speak to operations about our microwave, it's been almost a week now.
Not sure if it's part of Conroy's span of control, but the ever changing delayed arrival time of the ship(s) is obviously frustrating for first timers like us.

A seamless move. Each crew turned up at the appointed time and the work was completed in a timely manner. All workers were friendly and good to deal with. Very happy with the whole process.
Great experience, was recommended to use contours by a friend and everything went smoothly , only had 1 hick up on delivery with a mix up of mattress which I'm still waiting on a response about , but over all would definitely recommend conroys
One item was not delivered. One item that was brand new and still in original boxing was damaged and needs full replacement. Have lodged insurance claim and have been told to get repair quote - it was brand new and the manufacturer says serious damage. It looks like it has been dropped. Such a hassle. Good people who delivered the items and once I made contact there was good comms re delivery. The boxes looked very beaten up and damaged. We personally transported all kitchen and breakable items for fear of breakage. If we hadn't done this we would've had more damage. When booking was surprised a definite delivery date couldn't be agreed. That led to us sending less with Conroy and doing more ourselves.
Communications lacking between crews who misplaced a vital part of our bed after dismantling it. The beds weren't set back up as just left tied up against the wall in the bedroom, they are quite heavy and would have been nice to have the furniture placed properly in the bedroom reassembled and mattresses on them (same as they were found).
Fridge was badly dented in the front door, leather lazy boy chairs badly scuffed, and large chip in the bedroom side dresser. More care needs to be taken with applicances and furniture.
