Overall the service from Conroys staff was excellent. Driver Hayden and the two young lads who packed the truck at Rotorua were excellent. They took care with our contents and took their time to safely stack it in the truck.
We would like to point out some concern with the unload in Opunake. Two labour units from AWF arrived with Hayden and the truck. It was evident from the start that the two labour units were not going to be able to lift heavy items and appeared very inexperienced with shifting household goods. They were both nice lads but I would have thought that AWF would have given consideration to their abilities, strength and experience. No disrespect but one of the lads had a physical disability and should not have been put in such a position. Hayden was unable to fully utilise these lads and we had to help him with the heavier items as the two lads could not lift even simple items such as a double matress. This is a health and safety issue and fortunately no one was hurt but the potential for harm was there.
Thanks to Hayden for his professional manner and care with the load and unload and making our move that much easier.
When we discussed insurance with the young woman who did our initial assessment we questioned her about your business responsibilities re anything damaged through staff carelessness she assured us that was covered by your own insurance and if we didn't take out insurance that would not be affected. A small cabinet was dropped off the truck and a corner broken off. When my husband rang the number we were given he was told someone would get back to him, which they haven't, but we didn't have insurance anyway so you weren't responsible for the repair.
The guys / girls on site were friendly and accomodating. I really appreciate the work ethic and attitude. Please pass on my thanks.
After asking specific questions about car parts and tools, we were told false information which meant we got custom fines and tax to pay on goods. I also had issues getting answers from the customer services team, with poor communication on updates and still have not received our goods.
We are really happy with the Conroy service throughout the process of getting our items from Auckland to christchurch. In Auckland they came even before the promise time and load everything carefully.. and very friendly.. In Christchurch when we informed to send our items back to our new place they came ontime and placed the items inside the house. We are really happy all the items were in good condition no damages, So we are thanks for giving good service for money. We recommend you to all..

We have been very impressed with Conroy, both in 2015 when they transported our posessions to Australia and now December 2022 returning them to New Zealand. Conroy are Professional and Friendly, we can not fault their service. All staff we dealt with both here in New Zealand and in Australia are absolutely first class. We wish to add here that our New Zealand contact, Mandeep Brar, has been so impressive, he kept us informed the whole time as to where our possesions were and also worked in with our friends to be at our home when the goods were delivered, as we do not return to New Zealand until Wednesday. These emails Mandeep were very much appreciated. We recommend Conroy to anyone wishing a Professional Carrier and we send our Best Wishes to all the Conroy Team - from Pauline & Andrew.
