Fantastic
My journey started with Conroy's two years ago. Firstly they packed, transported to CHCH storage. Exactly 2 years later my home is finished and my possessions transferred into it. The staff right through this process were fantastic, friendly, considerate, helpful and professional. Would highly recommended Conroy's.
Excellent
Good communication from start to finish, pick up of all boxes and pack up of some boxes (majority packed by myself) excellent. Kept me informed of progress with shipment and details/contact for UK removal company. Made the whole process almost stress free!!!
My first impression talking to the office staff was good but not great. I asked if the movers would be able to take the back of the recliners and she very quickly said NO they don't do anything except move your furniture. That is all they do - they just move the furniture.
When I had the men turn up they were amazing. I told them we had taken the back of the recliners etc and they said they could have done that for us.
I wonder why I was told differnetly from the office staff?

Wonderful service from start to go..
The guys on pickup were awesome - friendly, efficient and helpful. They wrapped our fragile items beautifully and managed to squeeze in my houseplants! On delivery (another team) they were not as good. As I walked outside the one guy spat on to the driveway which was a bit gross. The furniture was put in the rooms I specified, however all the boxes were loaded in to the garage (no one asked where I wanted things) and they seemed in a hurry to leave. The person who was in the truck in charge of placing items in the truck was good on both locations though.
Given the rates are a lot higher than the 'smaller' by the hour companies I would have expected my washing machine hooked up to the new laundry and the boxes to be put in the relevant rooms/areas.
The booking process was great, loved the virtual tour for the estimate and all my quetsions were answered well and Katerina was helpful at all times. Cam who phoned to confirm days and times was also really great to deal with.

I've used Conroy many times, for non-fragile items, they are very organised and tailor their service to suit our pickup and drop off.

I moved from Australia to Dunedin Recently.I can't fault The Australian side of organisation & communication.Once my freight landed in Christchurch I was notified and then there wasn't anymore communication until the delivery driver was 1 hr away from my premises.This was 2 weeks after freight arrival.The truck was huge and could not get up to my premises.i was asked if I could work out a solution.ultimatlely my daughter and son-in-law had to meet driver and offload my freight onto their vehicles to bring to my premises My son-in-law had to leave his place of employment to do so.They also had to sort through Conroy's truck to find my freight, as it wasn't alot .The driver was very apologetic but I am Very disappointed in what started out an easy process that turned out a nightmare
