Hi there,

I felt admin support was great and the visit to the property.  Whilst our movers were hard working they were not careful enough with our belongings resulting in a badly damaged coffee table, artwork and washing machine.

Great service however boxes very damaged and furniture broken and dented on arrival. 

Communication at the Christchurch end was good but not so good at the Auckland end when we had been told a pick-up time and the truck arrived about 2 hours late without any contact letting us know what was happening. We know how bad Auckland traffic is so would have understood but were panicked at not having any info and knowing we had to complete cleaning the rental and be out by the end of the day. However the Auckland loading and Christchurch unloading teams both worked hard and we appreciated their efforts.

We recently used Conroy to move locally. As we only used them to move the furniture, we opted for hourly. The guys that came were professional, polite and friendly. They were careful with the items - when it started drizzling, they covered the items with moving blankets so items would not get wet. When it started raining heavily, they stopped loading the truck, instead they got the other items ready to move as soon as it stopped raining. Given we hired Conroys on an hourly basis, I was a little concerned of time wastage - however there was none - both of the guys worked quickly without wasting time. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Conroy and would use them again.
