Impressed by Jo in the office, the guys that did our packing and loading and then the team in Auckland who handled the unloading and unpacking. A very positive experience.

The team was accommodating and professional, from administration to the accounts department to the movers. I kept making mistakes in the required forms etc.. The team was accommodating and patient. They understood I was struggling to complete them as I was currently packing and tired, etc. Felt very comfortable dealing with the staff. Would like to receive one email that include all the forms to be filled, instead of multiple emails as it was confusing which one I had filled up and which one I had not.

Guys were fast and efficient, and knew what they were doing. All went very smoothly.
I would have loved Conroy’s to move my entire house
But I choose instead to have Conroy’s take the big stuff and I took all my possessions that would fit into a car - personally by myself by car.
It amounted to 5 car trips which involved a large amount of time loading and unloading. This process left me exhausted and demoralised, and consumed an entire 2 days of my precious time, at a time when I had lawyers, real estate agents, neighbours, and family to deal with.
I was exhausted by the end of the move and unable to enjoy my new home.
I choose to personally transport all my gear that would fit into a car.
Four car trips later I am exhausted
The guys that arrived at my site were EXCELLENT - particularly I remember Daryn, Drew & smily Christian (I think I got those names right).
My issue was that they arrived half a day early - I'd requested a PM start & they arrived first thing in the morning - this meant that I was not nearly as ready as I should have been, & it was very stressful (& of course this made it much harder for the guys). Also the guys were under a lot of pressure with other jobs, & there were more than 1 team at my place (someone would ask something from the 1 team, but then the other team didn't know) ... so this meant that there were things I wanted to keep out of storage to bring with me, that are now in storage PLUS there are things that went to storage that were set aside to donate to the SPCA or The Sallies.
So overall my comment is that the guys onsite were excellent but under a lot of stress, but the fact that my PM pick up wasn't the case threw me into a tailspin (it actually took me a day or so to catch up). I acknowledge that there was a phone message the night before, HOWEVER I was 'pedal to the metal' packing & I didn't actually pick that up until well after they had been & gone.
