Great team, great communication, great service. Really friendly crew showed up and they were really efficient packing up my stuff.
On the other end everything was left neat and tidy and the big ticket items in the correct rooms. It made the whole move easy. Couldn't be happier with the service.

We were very pleased with the services provided by Conroy Removals. They were proactive, communicted well, were accessible and did everything possible to get our shipment cleared, quarantine cleared and delivered in good time and on the date agreed. All the staff we spoke to were helpful & professional. There was no damage caused after the shipment arrived in Wellington. Conroys collected all the boxes, cartons and packing material within a couple of days of our request. All very effecient.
Convoys had been recommended to me by a number of people. However my experience with them was not a good one. Two men arrived at 8.30. Driver said that he couldn't get the truck up my drive because it was too big. That I found difficult to understand. It meant they had to walk up and down the drive with every item which added a lot to the time.I understood that they were packing the kitchen but they arrived without any boxes or paper. Driver said they were not wrappers. When he rang his boss and some boxers arrived I had to wrap and box myself. I am 86 and found this very exhausting and stressful They arrived at my new property at 1.30. On arrival I noticed several very dirty marks on 2 sofas. Driver said that he had wrapped them in blankets but the blankets must have been dirty.Driver said they couldn't put the bed up because he didn't have the right tools. They will have used tools to take it down so that I couldn't understand. They left at 4.10.
There was damage to my mahogany bedroom suite. Grandmother clock had a ding in the side. Rimu wall unit was dropped and broken. Large decorative pottery pot was broken into lots of pieces. Rimu coffee table has a ding on it. I spent twenty years moving furniture in my younger days and there was more damage in my move than my twenty years.

My experience with Conroy Removalist was very positive, the process was seamless, the staff were all very professional from the admin staff to the men who removed my worldly possessions and returned them to my new home in NZ. I have absolutly no hesitation in recommending Conroy Removalist. Thank you so much for the wonderful service.
We agreed to using your service because:
• It was agreed that all items too large for a box would be wrapped and protected
• That all expensive electrical items (e.g. TVs, soundbars, speakers) would be wrapped and protected
• That boxes marked as fragile would be treated as such
• We also agreed to using your service because we were advised: that on arrival the team would have stickers to mark and differentiate boxes and furniture that were heading to different locations
• That all boxes would be kept upright to ensure the contents were protected and exposed to limited movement
Having paid nearly $7000 for your service and being assured that our personal items would be treated with care and consideration, I’m extremely disappointed that your collection and loading service fell well below the standard you promised or that was aligned to the price you charged. Whilst the Christchurch unloading team were incredibly helpful and flexible, the Wellington team failed to deliver the service you had promised;
• They were uninformed as to how they were to differentiate the items going to different destinations
• They did wrap the high value electrical items
• They did not wrap the large items
• After dismantling the beds they simply placed all components together making it difficult to know which posts being to which bed and causing damage to the wood
• A large (2m) and high value copper lamp was left without wrapping and was scratched and broken
• They placed boxes clearly marked as fragile at the bottom of the stack causing them to collapse and damage items inside
• They placed numerous boxes on their sides instead of upright, causing many items within the boxes to move and receive damage during transit.
Can you please review my feedback and in conjunction to you validating my concerns with the Christchurch team, advise where you believe that I receive the quality of service that you had promised, and whether I received a level of service that aligned with the costs you charge.
