The pickup of our items in Wellington was well managed and my wife was delighted with the service. The dropoff in Whakatane was not done well as the truck was two and a half hours late from the final leg from Tauranga to Whakatane. I ended up helping to unload my possesions as there was only one person in the truck and one person unloading.

Overall the service was very good but we had difficulty finding items when unpacking as the items were not labelled on the boxes correctly. It just made finding items more time consuming than it needed to be.

This review refers to the goods that had been held in storage. They were undamaged, not dusty. No problems at all.

Day 1 - the packer was good, packed and labelled boxes well.
Day 2 - the removalists were strong, happy, and fetched and carried brilliantly. But they didn't label the last few boxes, and didn't pack them so well. I finished up with an apartment full of random boxes which it took me 4 days to sort out.
"This is the fourth time we have used Conroys in 7 years"
Generally very happy. Staff were courteous, polite and prompt. This is the fourth time we have used Conroys in 7 years and would do so again. But there are 2 clear and annoying areas where the service could be improved.
1. More attention to packing relevant items together. We found the vacuum in one box, its hose in another and the heads in another. Three different boxes for something we needed is VERY frustrating.
2. Older boxes have multiple markings from previous moves. Very hard to tell the relevant contents marker for the existing move. You should use a different coloured marker for each move to remove this frustration.

I appreciated the on-line forms which simplified the application, but I found it tricky to actually find thlinks to the forms in your emailed documentation. This caused me some delay in getting forms back to you.
We were most grateful that you were able to respond to our needs at very short notice, and delivery to Southland was very prompt.
All items arrived and were checked off correctly.

"We found the team excellent to work with"
We found the team excellent to work with - Reece, Jason, Conroy, Michael (the the great van packer) and Son who filled in for Reece on the delivery day. They knew what they were doing, were flexible and good company. It will take us a long time to open all the boxes but so far everything we have opened has been in good order.

The service was absolutely efficient. Pickup was promptly on schedule and delivery was prompt. I was totally satisfied.

One opportunity for improvement: Phone answering and etiquette needs to be uplifted. My Ph experience in
AKL. often no one answers and goes to a message which is frustrating.
Chc: Phone answered then when conversing with your staff I find long periods of silence whilst the Conroy person is doing something. Say something to your cutstomer like: I just have to look up something on the computer and do you mid holding on for a wee while. or something to that effect. Don't leave you client wondering "what's going on, why is he not saying anything, did he leave me hanging?
