Everyone I dealt with at Conroy said they would do something and it got done. It was nice to know that even a small move like mine was still important to the business.

The two men who delivered our goods were excellent. Efficient, polite & extremely obliging! Shame about all the damage, which appears to have come from some VERY rough handling but who knows at which stage of the journey.

The guys did an excellent job, including still working and unpacking in the dark because of our getting our key very late.

The initial process of getting a quote + sorting out details was not entirely user friendly online whereas the team on the phone were helpful sorting out specific requests/details. The 3 guys performing the move were outstanding in their care and professional attitude! It would be great to have the opportunity to tip them 'above board' at the end of the day! Also, I was informed prior to the move that I could pay using a credit card (although eftpos would be even better!) at the end of the move, but as the move finished after office hours, the movers couldn't receive payment. That puts the movers in a peculiar spot and I certainly felt like I didn't honour my end of the deal after they had spent 10 hours hauling stuff... I paid over the phone on the following Monday, but it left me a bit embarassed.

Excellent office staff..Izabella. Very helpful and great communicator. Good pick up and arrival and even helped with putting together a bed frame. Excellent staff all round.

Your website was an efficient way to book. However I then heard no more 6 weeks later, when I initiated a call as to where my furniture was, to the Napier branch who was doing the collection. I was told it had been collected in Napier a month ago and was now in Christchurch. When I rang Christchurch they said yes they had it and they would deliver it the next day, but that was unsuitable to me. I had expected to be given progress updates, especially as the time period was extended.
The furniture arrived in good condition and the delivery people were friendly and helpful. I liked it that the wrappings were all removed and the furniture was carried into the room and put in the right place.

"The truck pickup in Auckland was two hours late"
The truck pickup in Auckland was two hours late so we were delayed returning back to Napier and I had to cancel an appointment on the way. The staff were great once they arrived and worked hard to get the job done by 2pm. Unfortunately the driver who delivered the big truck in Napier had a very negative and unhelpful attitude. It was clear he didn't want to be there and was overheard being rude about me by my partner. The other two were great and worked very hard to make up for it but still my partner did most of the heavy lifting. A few things were broken and the protective blankets were removed too soon between trucks so dirty hand prints on upholstery of new dining chairs etc. Overall it was an average service and without my partner working very hard it would have taken a lot longer. Not a disaster but expected a little more customer care to be honest. Glad we got it done eventually and now the unpacking begins.

From Scott, who first came to give a quote through to the packers and then the team that unloaded could not have been more polite and efficient. They took a lot of the stress out of moving.
