"organised and lovely to deal with"

Everything seemed fine but the only thing I could complain about is that one of my mattresses somehow got sopping wet before it was wrapped up in plastic and I wasn't informed about it.

"Efficient, affordable"
Efficient, affordable. However, this time some of my boxes got wet and some books were thus damaged. Some wheels came of a plastic trolley and were not put back and were not returned to me. Also, one of the men who collected my goods was somewhat taciturn and grizzled about having to undo the bed frame. Otherwise a good move and the other guy who delivered the goods (Australian) was courteous and less taciturn than the guy who grizzled about the bed.

The packing in Christchirch was atrocious. The container wasn't packed correctly and so everything had shifted ,goodness knows if the PLASMA T.V will work considerring how badly it was wrapped and packed, even your Auckland guys passed comment on it. Stuff that should have been wrapped weren't, loads of stuff was stacked incorrectly, resulting in a fair amount of damage. As soon as we have finished unpacking properly we will forward the pictures. Cutlery was packed with tools. 2 tables were scratched and dented. My filing cabinets had the wheels ripped off it, the list is endless. As I say photographs will be forwarded to you as soon as we have the full picture. The guys from Auckland were brilliant and helped us very much.
Perhaps you Christchurch guys need more training!!! Disgusting!! 
"disconnect between the quotation process and the actual moving process"
I found the initial stages of service from your team to be very good - everyone was efficient, prompt and friendly. Very professional and good resources available prioir to moving. A survey was arranged and a visit to our house and the move site was arranged within a week. On moving day things were different. Although the team was friendly and engaging and confirmed the arrival time the day before, It took the team at least an hour longer than was estimated, they didn't communicate about the process and were not efficient at times. The van sent was bigger than we expected, it did not fit down the driveway of the moving site (which was surveyed) and this put an extra strain on your movers and my family who jumped in to help finish the job with constant trips up a hill to reach the van. It felt very rushed and we just got everyone to drop things into one room instead of a more orderly delivery. It was a disconnect between the quotation process and the actual moving process. If so much time was spent on the planning and surveying, it is a pity the job did not go smoothly or efficiently.

Very fast and very professional. We were so pleased with our team of movers!
Both moves from Wellington to Napier in early June and storage ChCh to Napier last week, were great experiences. At a difficult time of decision making the guys from Conroy were helpful, organised and lovely to deal with.
