We moves from Auckland to North Canterbury with a couple of months storage in between. Conroys were very detailed in their assessment and quotation and on acceptance provided cartons for us to prepack clothes and linen then arrived on time to pack the glasses, kitchenware, etc. On the day we moved out they turned up for a no-fuss packing of a container.
We were able to move into our new property a week earlier than expected but this was not a problem for Conroys. They even gave us a credit for a weeks storage without requesting it!
Both the packing team and the delivery team introduced themselves, were courteous and professional in their function. Remarkably there were no breakages at all! When we are unpacked Conroys will turn up and remove all the cartons and packaging waste which is a service we did not expect.
Well done Conroys, we would recommend your service and definitely use you again.

"Every member of the team was friendly"
We found the overall experience excellent. Every member of the team was friendly, prompt and super efficient from reception to sales to the two teams of great guys who moved our furniture to our new home. It was a no fuss, stress free move plus it was competitively priced.

"the core of the service we received was high"
We have used Conroy to pack and move us on several previous occasions. Until this final move we had been very satisfied customers. This time, several things happened to make the move more stressful than it needed to be.
Firstly, right from the first e-mail contact, we had set the date the move was to take place. It was disconcerting to be told on our final contact that Conroys could not move us on the 18th Dec and would not be available to do so until after Christmas. Given the new owners were taking possession on the 19th Dec and we were scheduled to leave the country on the 21st Dec. this was unacceptable. We appreciated the speedy effort made to correct this situation but...
Further to this, however, we had been assured the packing and moving could be completed withing the first day. The reality was only two men were sent to do the move. They worked very professionally and quickly throughout a long day. One of these men and a new man came back the second day and again worked hard throughout the day with no tea break or lunch break to get the move completed by 2:30 pm. The repurcusions of this were that my husband and I ended up being involved in the packing and moving when we had not intended this at all,. It also meant the cleaning lady we had hired to clean an empty house from head to toe at 9 a.m. on the 19th, had to work around furniture and moving objects and people to try to make the house presentable for the incoming owners. Neither she or I were happy with this.
Mick and Hux were just awesome. Pleasant, courteous and thoroughly professional. We want to acknowledge they did a great job on the ground. The organisation around the move appeared to us to be not as professional as we had experienced in the past, however.
We will use Conroys again because the core of the service we received was high but we would be very much less trusting about the administration of the move.

"I received first-class service"
As a last-minute uplift and delivery from Auckland to Kerikeri, a time of year when everyone wants everything "yesterday" and there must be a load of juggling, I received first-class service. Particularly from Izabela who was friendly, courteous, efficient and kept me constantly informed of progress and details the whole way through, either by phone or email. Very impressed and happy. The only thing not fulfilled was that I had no confirmation call from the driver as to what time frame he would be delivering, so it was extremely lucky I was home. I had been told he would call to advise of time frame. However when the drivers did arrive they were courteous, efficient and friendly. Many thanks to all. Would definitely use again. Thanks! A grateful customer.
