Feedback given to Branch Manager. Didnt get a call to say anything delivered, left garage open all night, and phoned sat 3 times to find out if delivered. Terrible service from day one calling customer service lady and worse service at the end, the only positive was the nice guy in Welly that rang to say it had arrived in town. will never use you again.

I was very impressed with the service given to us on the telephone by the girls in Napier - nothing was too much trouble, and we did get quick service at short notice.
I was present when the packers came to pack, and was generally pleased with their work and their packing technique. I was concerned about the packing of some of the pieces of furniture as they were very expensive and of high quality. The men did listen to my requests for how I wanted things packed. They assured me also that they knew what they were doing. Similarly the men who came to move the packages were very careful.
Some of the furniture packed by your men came from a very high end furniture store which had offered to pack it again in original packaging for me when I said that I was moving it. When I saw that it would not be covered by insurance through you if it was not packed by you, I declined this offer. The table and chairs that your men packaged were purchased for more than $12,000 dollars (not yet unpacked), and the leather chairs which I referred to, and now showing pressure marks, were over $3,500 each.
We were not contacted about the delivery time or date, and had to ring in total 3 times to get the answer. Not all calls were returned. On the final occasion of enquiring, the truck was only half an hour away. Thankfully, my husband could go to the storage unit where the consignment is unloaded.
Having received all the packages, we have some concerns about the transit process. All the boxes are still in storage and not unpacked as yet to see if there are any issues there. However, a marble table top 1400 x 800 (which was at least 150 thick) arrived totally smashed inside its bubble wrapping. Although the packers did write "Marble Table Top" and used Fragile tape, the movers in Christchurch ( I understand) put in on top of all the consignment to come south from Christchurch. It fell off the top of the stack inside the container and landed on a concrete umbrella base. We have photos of this package as it was in Auckland, and as it was when it arrived in Wanaka. Nothing of it is was selvageable , not even a small peice of marble - a catastrophy. The men who unloaded our luggage in Wanaka seemed to think this type of incident has happened before when they have come to unpack a container. This marble top is one we had made especially for the base it sat on. We are having difficulty establishing the cost for insurance.
We have only unpacked a few folding chairs. Two of these were leather director chairs. The packaging technique was insufficient to protect the leather from indent from the pressure of being squashed in the packing of the container. There needs to be more padding inside this type of packing as these indent marks will not know come out.
At this stage, until we unpack further, we will not know if there is any other damage.
I do hope that you can do something about your staff/contractors taking note of the markings on Fragile packages.
I hope too that my comments are useful to you. I would use your service again, but would always like to be present at both ends of the operation for the reasons I have given you.

"I was very impressed"
The service was on time in Christchurch and was hassel free in Blenheim. All the guys at both ends were very freindly and helpful. Although I did find an article missing, I reported it and it was found and delivered very promptly and in good condition. I was very impressed. Thanks to all the guys

Your packing and time management were excellent. All pre-arranged times were all adhered to from uplift to delivery. Your personnel (Tim Matt and Murray) were excellent and are to be commended on their great attitude which made it so much easier for us as a shift at our age is quite traumatic. It appears nothing was lost and there was only one small breakage. Thanks Conroy

We are very impressed with the service we received from your Company. It began with our intial contact with Caroline (Napier office) to Joanne (Wellington office). Both these ladies were very helpful and friendly and Joanne was particularly patient and accommodating with our continued increasing of the load. She couldn't have been more patient with one stressed out Mum!!!! Finally a big thank you to the removers - what a team. The two Wellington guys had a particularly steep set of steps to navigate and they did it efficiently and with a smile of their faces. Also a big thanks to the Napier guys - they were also very efficient and pleasant. It was great to receive our furniture the day after leaving Wellington all present and undamaged - the icing on the cake were the two happy, friendly deliverers. They're keepers - look after them!!!! Your workers are your biggest asset. I would certainly recommend and use Conroys again. Many thanks.

"Enjoyed the experience with Conroys"
Friendly, efficient, and capable teams handled our shift. We never contemplated those big men from Tonga were capable of handling our delicate crystal and china. Not one breakage. Had not shifted for 44 years. Enjoyed the experience with Conroys.
I have used Conroy's twice now and found the office staff easy to deal with although there didn't seem to be much feeling in it, just get it done kind of attitude would be a small critism.
The guys doing the move were much better then the last time where I was not able to attend and they dumped everything in the living area.
This time I was there and this crew were great even after working hard taking it up my steep driveway asked if I need things moved around, which is probably standard procedure.
Bert was the shining star, he had great driving skills at both houses and moved alot of the heavy things...because he can, his fun friendly attitude makes him a valuable asset.
