"Our experience with Conroys was mixed"
Our experience with Conroys was mixed. One of the two guys was quite simply a misery guts. I can't say I've ever come across someone that is so miserable on the job. He struggled to say even the most simplest of greetings and ignored anything and everyone to the point of rudeness. Clearly he does not like his job and frankly, as a client, I'd prefer he got another one. He couldn't have moved at a slower pace and I felt sorry for his partner. Once the truck was loaded up and we were half way to the new house we realised they had left behind the washing machine and dryer. It appeared to come as a surprise to Chris and certainly didn't add to his mood. Last item to be put into the new house was a substantial sized counch. To which he very readily decided they couldn't do it without more men, next weekend. My husband thankfully disagreed and with door removed and feet off the couch, they managed to get it in. All in all he was seemingly very unwilling from the time he arrived. Very dissapointing. I guess repeat business in this game doen't matter all that much as people tend to stay put for a while. But frankly, so long as I might run the risk of having him move me again, I won't be using Conroy.

"Packers were awesome and loading was very quick and effecient"
Packers were awesome and loading was very quick and effecient. Unloading was a bit slow as one of the four guys didn't arrive with the trucks and then once one truck was unloaded another guy left. So finished later than I would have expected or wanted.
"Conroy would be my first choice again"
I appreciated Conroy's prompt responses to emails with clear information and pricing. The movers were on time, efficient, and obliging. I trusted the experience of one mover, and liked the way he was training the younger mover with best technique. Conroy would be my first choice again. Alison D, Christchurch
"all and all job well done"
Good bunch of guys,on our move, more up to date Navman required as they got lead astay some what, making arrival later but once on site made up ground, couple of things sight danage, need a little more care boys, all and all job well done .This was the second time we have used Conroy good service from office staff. "From my first phone call..."
From my first phone call to ask advice on using the company I experienced nothing but efficient service. The quote, subsequent follow up and booking was professional. The Friendly and efficient packers were professional as well. Everything arrived at my new address in safe condition, boxes were marked so I could readily identify which room the contents were destined for making setting up new house much less stressful than anticipated. Furniture was delivered in a timely manner with clear communication for delivery time. I would not hesitate recommending Conroy Removals.

John and Jaymee from Brisbane and Adam are the most efficient people they made our move to NZ very outstanding had the best service they need to be congratulated they are the best got everything in tact.

Friendly, efficient and obliging workers.
Most things were good but;
1. The packers needed to communicate/check more so things to be left weren't packed . There was no problem correcting this, though.
2. I did not like having to prepay. This meant you didn't trust me but I had to trust you. You should perhaps ask for a substantial deposit, up to half the quote.
3. Your charges for insurance are ridiculously high.
4. Two casserole dishes were broken through faulty packing. Three weeks later we have heard nothing from you on this matter.
