Your guys arrived in time and got the job done quickly and efficiently and with care. My belongings were placed in storage and I havent seen it but from what I hear it all looks good. Thankyou.
"good at the NZ end"
Conroy service was good at the NZ end but not as good at the USA end. Conroy has a spam blocker on the email so hard to get emails through. The 3rd party handling the furniture delivery still have not delivered and seem unable to give a definitive date as to when making it hard to plan our house moving.
"Conroys responded promptly"
My previous review last month was quite unsatisfactory (online response approx mid Feb and earlier email to Izabela George and Stuart Laurenson (10 Feb). I am pleased to say that Conroys responded promptly and efficiently to the problems identified, and went to some trouble to put things right. Everything is now in the right place and my faith in Conroys restored. Thanks Stuart!

"can not fault the service"
I can not fault the service we received at all, from packing to unpacking in a new country everyone was amazing, I has some fragile items that were being moved and all were intact upon arrival, very happy

Hi - I was actually very impressed by every aspect of your service except communication about delivery dates.
I had requested a pick up from Wellington on the 9th and (two) drop offs in Hawkes Bay on the 11th - the drop off date was discussed over the phone and by the guys who did the pick up. My brother and mother spent all day at their respective houses on the 11th - it was only when I called in the evening on the 11th that I was told delivery would be on the 12th for one drop-off and the 16th for the second (this one may have been further delayed).
Not only was this an inconvenience for my brother and mother - but it meant that I wasn't able to put my possessions in order and collect some items before I left New Zealand on the 15th. I am now living in Australia, still without some items that are in my brother's garage.
Later delivery dates would have been no problem whatsoever, if I had just had advance notice of what the actual delivery date were likely to be. Even a quick phone call the day before would have saved a great deal of inconvenience. I raised this issue with on the 11th - and was told it had been referred it on to management. It's now over three weeks later and I still haven't heard anything - a simple, quick discussion and apology at the time would have gone a long way to patching things over.
This is a real shame, because otherwise the service from Conroy was excellent. Everyone I spoke with was genuinely friendly and happy to help. My items were carefully looked after and (I understand) delivered in good order. Unfortunately, as things stand now, I will not be looking to use Conroy again or recommending your company.
The two men were efficient & punctual. After the move I paid with a cheque & I said to them I was quoted $325 plus insurance but I was unaware how much the insurance was as although I had asked for insurance I had never been actually quoted for it? The men knew nothing about the insurance? Shortly after they left I noticed a chunk of wood missing from the rear of one of the lounge chairs. I decided not to complain about that & thought I could get it fixed somehow. Since then I have received an email & another invoice for the insurance. Firstly I believe that the insurance was far too excessive & if I had been quoted this amount I would never have accepted. It was after all just a 10 minute journey & a minimal load. If you expect me to pay the insurance invoice I would like to know firstly why I was not advised of the exact amount & secondly what you intend to do re the damage.
