I was very dissapointed in the calibre of people who showed up to move my items, they were small in size and seem to struggle with the move, all items were moved the day prior to the garage so should have been a very easy move, i would hate to think how long it would have taken had the items been left throughout the various rooms, the pair seemed to talk often and even decided to take a 10 minite break after only 2 hours on the job, the entire move took over 5 hours it should have taken less than 3. I was grateful that your company reduced the price and i wasnt charged for 5 hours.

Excellent outcome on all aspects of what was a huge domestic move including part deilivery to South Island.

A seamless uplift and onsite packing exercise. Furniture appeared to well packed. Have not received our furniture yet but we are still within the estimated delivery time of 7 weeks.

Mixed dealings but at the end of the day our stuff has arrived and there does not seem to be any damage so I would reconmend to a friend plus they were very competatively priced compared to other outfits. If your not in a rush and can put up with the downsides then go for it.
Downsides
- Packing - Not enough packing materials on pick up, we had to suppliment with our own (disapointing as we had paid for full pack and no refund offered)
- Communication - Awful, I had to instigate all comunication on updates (UK partners were great though).
- Time - took well over the quoted time for delivery to our new place.
- Missed one box off inventory (glad I double checked and had it added).
Positives
- Staff - Great, friendly and very helpful (both ends)
- Everything arrived in one piece.
- UK contractors they used for delivery were great.
Sorry however I was very disappointed with the service I received from your company. Originally the contact was very good however the removal itself was very poor. I received a quote from your company for transit insurance however my own insurance company quoted abot $60 less so I was intending insuring through them. However I took great care in packing my household goods so took the chance and decided I wouldn't go with the cover, as apart from a major accident I didn't think the cost warranted it. On receipt of the goods at my new premises none of the items I had packed (which included numerous crystal and cutlery items) were damaged, however 3 cabinets and tables arrived beyond repair, my freezer has a large dent in it, and another chest has a chunk out of it.
I had major back surgery about 2 years ago however went to the trouble of taking all my large items out of the house in preparation to load onto your vehicle and all these items arrived on the truck in excellent order so were all damaged during packing and transit. I also had to assist the young man loading everything onto your vehicle as the other person remained on the truck the entire time. Just to top it off, I was advised that my household goods would be delivered on Friday 29th April 2016 (as per the contract I signed). However the movers arrived at the new premises on Thursday morning. The previous owners had not removed all their possessions so this made it very inconvenient. It was just lucky that I had called into the premises to pick up a key at the time. I asked your company to come back the following day as agreed however they said they had nowhere to store my possessions in the meantime.
I have a neice and a nephew who have both moved back to NZ from Australia in the past 18 months and both said that they had nothing broken in their move so it is very disappointing and I feel very let down by the whole thing. I now have a trailer load of broken possessions that will be going to the tip next weekend.
