"not as friendly"
The consultants at the office were not as friendly. They were helpful with email correspondence but were rude when communicated over the phone. The shipment was over 5hours 30min late with no communication from the office. When we called to inquire the phone was dropped on us. I was a struggle for an hour to get a hold of people to find out what is happening with our container.
The ground consultants were so helpful and friendly. I will most definitely give them a 5 star rating.
We had 3 items crated in South Africa. Two of these items came to our new home without crated and was clearly manhandled. I have pictures of 1 Item

"Every thing was perfect"
Every thing was perfect , nothing was broken and they worked everything out perfect considering they had to deal with the Earthquake in Kaikoura .Had added a washing machine in Wallington and they made room for it .Everything was professional ly done.

Conroys did a great job. Everything arrived and on time, with notices throughout the process. Most impressed. Definitely a great recommendation. The staff are always friendly and couteous.

The handling of our goods was quick, easy and professional. The communication between offices regarding our paperwork seemed to be lacking as it was not confirmed by Melbourne offices that forms had been received on our part. Improvement could be made here..

"hugely disappointed"
As a return customer I was hugely disappointed. I had recommended your service to my elderly mother in law, based on previous excellent service. This time - from the get go - nothing went right. 4 hours late with no communication. Arrival at destination - almost 48 hours behind time. At a stressful time - a removal company should maintain professionalism, a 'service' attitude, and strong communication. This was lacking. I suggest stronger liason between despatch and carriers ... it came across as poor logistics on Conroy's part..

I had a very average experience with Melbourne side of Conroy removals, Janelle and Justin were the only ones reasonably easy to communicate with. I have submitted a formal complaint with the Melbourne team in which i never received a response or follow up which I was very disappointed with and felt very dismissed by conroys Melbourne.
however the 2 gentlemen that came from Auckland to unload and install my goods were extremely friendly, easy to communicate with, worked very hard for me, and were very accomodating to my in the way children! They were over all fantastic and would of been lovely to have that same experience with the Melbourne crew.
We have used Conroys for various reasons over a period of time and their service is second to none. A slight disappointment this time with the disparity of the quote versus the actual charge. All up though great. Goods in Tauranga within 10 days from Christchurch and that's with the after math of an earthquake!
