Professional Wrapping
Quick, professional wrap of furniture and pictures/paintings and assisted at arrival end with unwrapping a few large items and setting our dining table up, which had been dismantled and wrapped for travel.Would use Conroy again and would recommend this Company for any pickup and removal.
Not impressed
The sales rep we dealt with was great as were the ladies in the office. However the actually removal men were careless (the words used by the sales agent) we had quite a few items damaged. We had chosen not to have insurence and we were happy to wear that. However two garden statues were not packed for moving correctly and were actually tied together when secured in the truck. I let doug know about this as i flet the removal men needed training. Doug told me that as it was company carelessneess then i should put in a claim since it was not our fault.
We submitted a claim and recieved a cold email from a lady at Conroys staing we were not eligable due to not having insurance. I replied to her what we had been told about it being on the company due to the carlessness of the men loading the truck. She basically said tough take it up with the sales person.
We were not impressed with her response, I forwarded her reply on to Doug who had given the advice one week ago and never recieved a reply.
So we have been left with the impression that the company was only concened with being paid and not customer saticfaction.
It is a shame that Conroys customer service have let them down as I found the guys who delivered our good to be helpful although my husband was not impressed to arrive home when the truck was being unloaded and seeing one of them riding his bike around to the back of the house. My husband competes in cycle events and none of his bikes are for jaunting around on.

Poor communication
The customer sevice at the beginning with Derek Purver in Christchurch to the the guys that came to pick up my stuff in Christchurch was absolutely great. Conroys had the best competitive price and thought that it was awesome that you supplied the packing boxes. The experience in between to the end was absolutely poor. I was disappointed as i rung on Tuesday 19 Sep to organise a time for delivery which was already confirmed for Monday 25 September. Conroys said they will ring me on Friday 22 September to organise a time(I wanted to request a morning delivery),come 5pm no-one had rung and i ended up ringing Conroys as to then they said someone from dispatch will ring at 7:30am on Monday 25 September(Delivery day) I thought thats okay they might deliver in the morning.Come Monday they rung me at 9am or 10am to say that they will deliver mid-day.Come 1:30pm-2pm delivery still had not come so i rung conroys again to get an update on time of arrival.They said delivery will be 3:30pm as to which they arrived at 3:45pm.I had to be at the airport at 4:30pm so it became rushed.I was absolutely ****ed off as a few of my family took time off work to help with the move and it was an absolute waste of time.That last part of my experience ****ed me off as to why i scored low on in the above questions. I said no to using the services again but its more a Maybe but that wasnt an option.
While the staff doing the actual moving of the furniture were fantastic, I found the communication regarding the pick up/delivery was poor
