I found the staff in tauranga extremely proffessional, was impressed with the guys who packed my goods, Havent had the goods delivered in australia till monday the 9th, send me another survey and will report after all my goods have been delivered. would like to assess the situation here prior to reporting if you dont mind.

I have to say that this was the best removal experience I have had, and believe me, there have been many. Your staff are great to talk with on the phone and superb on the job of loading and unloading. You people obviously know that moving is a stressful time for us not so young folk and set about making it as easy as possible. Eleven out of ten. Sincere thanks. Your fan...Robert

"nobody contacted me about when things would arrive"
I had a great experience with the house being packed up in Auckland - he was very good. The experience at the Wellington end (delivery) was not so great as nobody contacted me about when things would arrive until i called up - i was told between 3-5pm - it arrived just before 6pm! I took a day off work and waited around so that was obviously frustrating. The guys who unpacked in Wellington were great but there were only 2 of them for my multilevel house, compared to the 4 who packed up in Auckland with a single story property! That meant me helping as i wanted to get everything in as it was dark by that point - totally not the fault of the guys that arrived (who, as I say were pro's at getting everything done as quickly as possible) but perhaps it could have been managed better at the operational end. It felt like delivery of my house contents was an afterthought. Even thought there were these problems I would still think to use you again as every staff member I've ever dealt with has been very helpful and friendly.

The driver was good to deal with. Wellington end was fine. The idiot labourer at the te awamutu end was hopeless and far to rough. I told him to stop throwing my stuff. Writing fragile on a box means nothing, hence broken glassware. And the driver & 1 helper was ridiculous. We had to help unload the truck. We are not paid to unload the truck. Not happy yet again. Was crap last time to.

Communication was good, goods taken care of and then delivered well and respectfully
On a positive, the initial quote and service prior to our move was fantastic, the three young men were also polite and lovely to deal with however, in the end, unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the overall service. It took 4.5 hours to get our main furniture/white ware (as all small boxed stuff we moved) onto one truck and shift x4 minutes up the road.
We had previously moved to the address two years prior which only took just under two hours to shift and this was a 14 minute drive away so this is what we based our recent shift on. We acknowledge we had accumulated two outdoor tables and chairs since our last shift but this shouldn't have impacted too much.
The boys also spent a good 40+ minutes taking down the kids beds, had we had known this, we would have had all the beds disassembled prior to the move that morning given we were paying $165 per hour. (unless this was in fine print we are unsure?). Or, if the boys had of said something when they arrived we would have started disassembling them.
The truck also took 20-25 minutes to get to and from the address, which was only a 4 minute drive by car, we were also charged for this. Once again, we can only compare this to our previous move but the men who did our last shift (which may have been Conroys too? we can't remember) appeared to have a good sense of urgency with their work, but unfortunately we didn't get that impression with our recent move.
We even got to the stage where we were carrying the smaller items into the house to hurry things a long, given the longer they took the more money it was costing us.
Unfortunately a few items were damaged, and the screws for the kids beds were not taped to the beds upon delivery and it wasn’t until two days later when we went to put them up, that we realised they were missing. Overall disappointing, and we feel that at least one hour of the charge could have been avoidable (if we disassembled the beds, and if the truck only took the approximate travel time of 4 minutes to and from) then this would have saved us $165.
