"very quick"
the two guys who un-loaded us were lovely and very quick. The only thing I didn't like was that they were smoking on my property, I don't think that's approprite.

"down to earth people"
You don't need to improve the service was excellent. The packers were great and the removers were awesome. Very kind, down to earth people who did a great job.

You managed to lose my stuff, I'm missing items I can not replace, I guess I should have counted the boxes.

One item of furniture was damaged - small hall table. Two legs were broken off. One coffee table was badly scratched. Otherwise everything else was OK.

Everything had gone smoothly until delivery day - our family has been living in a hotel for 5 weeks whilst buying a home, the move in day arrived and we made arrangements for our household delivery for 8.30 on Tues morning. The 1st container load arrived and was unloaded by 11am, the driver said he wouldn't be long and went back to get the 2nd container - two workers from Conroy and myself waited for 2 hours, then i phoned Wgtn despatch and was told that driver was sent to another job in between ours and he would be there in 20 minutes. I then phoned Fiona in Hawkes Bay to complain - we waited until 3.20 before the second container arrived - 4 hours and 20 minutes after our driver had left. This meant we didn't have our house in a fit state to sleep in that night and had to spend another night in a hotel - a cost to our family. This put huge stress on an already stressful situation because the Wellington despatch manager could not have cared less, we have two small kids and we sat there twiddling our thumbs for 4 hours 20minutes, Not happy and will not be using this company again.

The guys were very helpful on arrival placing heavy items where needed outside without my asking - very much appreciated.

A get team of guys both in Wangamata and in Hastings couldn't do enough to help.
The reason I gave 3 stars was due to communication. No one contacted me the day before I moved to confirm a pick up time, so I phoned to ask and it seemed that in fact there wasn't a "resource" allocated to my job. Then, on the morning of my move, I was phoned to ask if delivery of my household goods could wait for 2 days. I said no as this left me without a bed, mattress or even a cup to drink out of. We compromised on 1 day delay. This cost me $159 for a night in a hotel. I sat (or rather stood) in the unfurnished house for 5 hours because I had no idea when the load would be delivered. Eventually my stuff did arrive (after 5pm) and was unloaded very efficiently. But after the truck had departed I found that part of my bed frame was missing. So I slept on my mattress on the floor. Early the next morning I received a phone call asking if I was missing any items, and a few hours later my missing stuff was cheerfully delivered by the excellent Snowy. All my items are in good condition, all the truck operators were professional and efficient, but just letting me know what was going on would have made the move much less stressful, and I had not counted on having to pay for a hotel at short notice.
