Poor Communication on Delivery
Was happy with all your services apart from communication on delivery, was told between 930-1000am, truck ended up being there just after 1pm, was a bit of a hassle as had booked a little hire truck to move some items from storage unit to our house, so half day hire turned into full day hire, and also packaging on big tv was a bit rough but visually seems ok, but have no way to test this at this stage. But all in all I'm happy with the overall job and would use you guys again just needed a better communication on delivery side of it and it would have been a perfect job, anyway thank you guys at Conroy
"ery fast follow up from my intial request"
Very fast follow up from my intial request for a quote, great response and well priced quote for our move (not the cheapest - but 2.5 cheaper than the dearest quote we recived). The guys doing the move were very fast workers and made it look easy. They didnt damage anything which is a huge improvement on the last company we used two yrs prior. Great service at delivery end the next day, very helpful with unloading and even made a few suggestions how to fit everything into the new (smaller place). Well done!
"dissatisfied with the level of communication"
I chose Conroy for this particular move because of previous positive experience, but on this occasion I was dissatisfied with the level of communication from the Christchurch branch office in response to my queries about a number of matters, the detail of which can be discussed separately with Conroy Movers.
The service level of household chattel packing this time was not of the same high standard as in 2014, although the two men who carried out the removal and delivery did a good job.

"Efficient and super obliging and pleasant staff'
Efficient and super obliging and pleasant staff. Devastated that our recently refurbished (at considerable expense) antique occasional table, originally belonging to my grandmother and then mother was damaged - leg broken - by a casual employee. Delivery people have returned with it to Auckland and we have been assured that it will be carefully repaired by experts. When will this item be returned to us?

"lack of interest and honesty"
While an overall good history and service from Conroy, this most recent job - very promptly and efficiently handled as far as drop off - was let down by seeming lack of interest and honesty when it came to the delivery placement, which was clear, clarified and confirmed (apparently); but not followed nevertheless. Worst of all, when I followed up to raise this, no response at all.
I would like to know if now you have collected and delivered my speedway body, bonnets, and wings. If next time it would be a lesser cost as you can pack these down into a smaller area instead of 10m3? Please inform me of the area it could have fitted in an maybe could make a note on my file!
also on my quote there is no delivery time frame, so maybe infuture you may want to look into this area.

"communication not as good as pick up"
Delivery timing and information not planned /last minute - also were not interested in doing a good job - just gettting unloaded - communication not as good as pick up- I was worried plastic would get left behind .
staff were friendly and polite. They were carefull not to damage our ex home and took care with all the furniture. It was a wet day rugs were used to avoid any soiling of carpets.
