Needed to be kept informed
The Consignment was promised to be delivered on a Tuesday, but when I rang on Tuesday evening I found out the package had not left Auckland. No-one contacted me at all, I was given no information as to why. It took day to get that sorted and then delivery was scheduled for Thursday 10am. Note that you had the packages for 6 days by this stage. The delivery was late again, but no-one called me again. I sent an email querying where the packages were, only to be told the truck was held up due to an accident. However the driver told me it was clear the whole way. The packages were finally delivered by 12.30. What was required was better information from the operations team with updates on late or delayed deliveries. The contents were not urgent so the delays were ok, but only if we have been kept informed as to where and why.

"several items damaged"
We have found several items damaged including a crack in our roll top desk and a leg broken off one of our cabinets. A fragile lamp that I had requested to be specially packed was wrapped in blanket and is damaged. We haven't finished unpacking yet but I experienced less damage when I moved to nz from overseas.
"stress free experiance"
Conroy's provided a stress free experiance to my relocation, overcoming the localised problems with importing my belongings from abroard. I will be using them again for my second shipment later in tghe summer. The most important part of any relocation is the communication letting you know just what is happening and when, this was managed very well by Conroys with fast replys to any calls or e-mails adding to the whole experiance

"The whole process was very easy"
The whole process was very easy from the booking to the delivery at our new home. The packing of the kitchen was done very well. The mover teams on both days were very efficient and friendly. Everything went to plan
I did have concerns though about the workload for just 2 people to uplift - a lot of furniture for them to lift down stairs etc. I was pleased that others arrived to help move the piano.

Had to follow up
I have used conroys before and it has all been positive, this time however I have had to follow up on what is happening and have not yet received my delivery, am hoping it arrives today
"The guys were friendly and helpful"
All in all the move was good, we did experience delays at the pick up that resulted in going late into the afternoon / evening which was'nt good but I must say that Carolyn did communicate well. Adam and his team worked well but when Rick arrived in the late afternoon things seem to go into rip, shit and bust mode that did'nt help. The delivery went well, arrived as promosed but our display cabinet was not wrapped as requested and sustianed some damage which was a little disappointing. The guys were friendly and helpful and I thank Carolyn, Adam, Bronson and the man from Bristol for their service

Everything went smoothly. Even though I was overseas your staff were excellent in answering my queries promptly and ensuring I was informed about all stages of the process. I would definitely use Conroy again. Thank you.
