Needed intervention from Senior Management
I have already provided feedback on Google reviews. There was a massive muck up with the Napier to Wellington stage that required intervention from Senior Management (Fiona Conroy). I didn't realise who she was until the day of my delivery, but basically, there communication lacked massively in NZ and procedures were not followed (Monica I believe) so Fiona had to take my very unhappy and upset phonecall. If it were not for her, I wouldn't rate the experience very highly, but keeping in mind how amazing the WHOLE team in Sydney was, and then Fiona and the delivery guys awesome service turned out, they collectively made the experience more better than it was unpleasent.
I thank Kim from Sydney, Fiona in Napier and the Wellington boys for their awesome service.

Fantastic !! My husband and I used Conroys at very short notice. We found all staff where professional, friendly and very caring throughout the process. The team that got us from Napier to Blenheim where Kirsty (office) Mic, Cora, Daryl(amazing driver and strong lifter) Dan and Rowan, and Craig from Christchurch (Driver). I would recommend this hard working team. Thankyou Conroy Merry Xmas Barry and Ronnie.
professional in every aspect
The service was very professional in every aspect. I couldn't fault it in any way. The communication was very informative every step of the way. The staff I dealt with were extremely helpful and obliging. A great service to be proud of congratulations Conroys.
New Zealand let the team down
Unfortunately, our experience was terrible. A large percenatge of our gear was damaged in some form. When I advised conroys in Napier and sent thru the photos I was told that they "were concerned that damage was prior to moving "even though on our pre-move no damage was stated on items we were claiming for. It was bad enough to have our gear badly damaged ( some of it unrepairable ) and we hadn't claimed on quite a few items so to be accused of this was pretty devastating and insulting given we had been very fair with what we claimed for. Then Napier said that we were underinsured to try to worm out of paying some of our claims that way. Fortunately, I had kept the email which showed their recommendation for what to insure it for.I got a very snarky email in response from Karen in Napier when I showed her proof of recommendation which was very unprofessional as was her not answering some of my emails. We had gone with their advice re the insurance amount expecting it to be correct. I just could not deal with conroys again because of the dishonesty with the insurance claim.We provided proof of our lounge suite being purchased from Sydney yet it was paid out in NZ dollar. The payout for rest of the gear was well under the repair costs and we wished we had waited for repair quotes. We just wanted to get on our lives and were tired from the move so didn't fight it which perhaps we should of.We have done three international moves and one where we had to claim on some items with Crown but never before had this level of damage or accusation/dishonesty /stress over a claim. Was a very stressful experience that I would not wish on anyone. I NEVER usually give bad feedback but in this case, I just couldn't not say something. Melbourne end was really good re keeping us informed and the unpack guys were awesome but Napier has put me off this company which was our first and last move with them.
I have emailed Conroy with updates to the address and date of my delivery and the information never got updated in the system. A day later, I received an email saying my goods would be delivered in the old address and date.
Other than that, the delivery was great. I was impressed by the service and speed. Congratulations!
