The service we received from start to finish with Conroy was disorganised and far below the standard I would have expected given the expense! Our dealings with Doug in the Tauranga office were a nightmare, he gave us multiple inaccurate quotes, didn't tell us he would not be arond to process our shipment as he was going away and then failed to actually arrange for our collection to take place on the designated day. Our dealing with Sue in the same office were fantastic and she was very friendly and helpful. When our shipment was finally collected in Tauranga the two movers who turned up were wonderful but they had been hugely inconvenienced by Doug's failure to appropriately organise the pick up.
Our shipment arrived on time in Christchurch and was delivered by two lovely guys but there was extensive damamge done to items within the shipment and some of our boxes had been so badly damaged that they had cracked and some of the contents had fallen out and been lost.
This was a disaster of a service and I will never use and never recommend Conroy again!

Initial contact very good. Packing reasonable, but packing of plants appalling with a lot of damage and the top third of my lemon tree just torn off (of the 12 lemons I now have 4). really I would have been happier if you had refunsed to move the plants. Many of them damaged with the move, some placed on their side so most of the soil spilled out into the boxes. One chair had been pulled apart. A dent and paint rubbed off my fairly new fridge, and brand new flooring torn in the process of placing the fridge. Deep scratches on a bedside table top. Deep gouge on the side of a new bed base, and similar on the door on a shelving cupboard. So the list goes on. The guys turned up to deliver with no tools despite my request to have my bed and table reassembled. I had some tools handy fortunately. It was their 3rd delivery of the day and by the time they got to me they were not very interested and it had started raining. I found it a very stressful experience. I felt like they were told" just fit everything into a container, and if it doesn't, then make it"
I am pleased with the goods that arrived last Friday. However the items that were left behind, garden hose, sprinkler and wooden carry box have not arrived as promised. I called the day after they had loaded so I would presume they will be here in a day or 2. Perhaps they are still on their way but I'm concerned that they have been forgotten about as I have had no contact regarding their delivery. Please advise.
