Hi guys, I chose in reality based on price as you were the most affordable. However, in both the initial move & the move back to our home there were issues. In the initial move we were promised 2 packers, we did get 2 packers the first day but only 1 following that & there was a substantial amount of packing to be done, The girl who was left to do the packing on her own was doing so until the & while the movers were there. This meant a lot of our stuff was not well packed & there were damages. We ended up having your entire fleet at the end of a very long week moving us & in the haste things were damaged. I was promised packers this last time & we had 2 very hard working men turn up, but they ran out of paper to pack so left, telling me one of them would be back in the morning to complete the packing of my kitchen. They did not return & I was lft to pack my kitchen up, that was 2 hours of my time-not good enough when I have paid your service to do this job. Your movers work very hard but at times are rough, which is why we have damages, these were not always reported to us, which made it feel either sneaky or just careless. I will not be putting in an insurance claim, but I could have. I found this to be an exhausting process when it should not have been.
Pick up date/time moved a few times, and delivery was delay by a day or two.
It was a difficult day for the guys with bad weather and poor access but they maintained a positive attitude and worked hard to make the move from Wellington to Levin for us as smooth as possible.
Fast but not so reliable about their timing. Lady dispatch officer from Auckland was rude. Hope you can improve your customer service.
I wasn't provided enough boxes to pack self, no TV boxes were available, eventually on move day 1 TV box was sourced after a phone call to Conroys for 4 TVs. No bed wraps were ever provided. My beds would have been filthy if I hadn't sourced some wraps myself from my work which meant travel for me and shouting work morning tea.
Not really appropriate for the price I paid for this move.
Your removal men were polite, efficient and a pleasure to work with.
The two guys were. efficient and polite. Hope they are paid well.
Wellington branch wre awesome, easy to deal with and a reasonably priced service.
Communication throughout was good Wellington and Auckland..

I was very angry as I was not told by using a container that it could sit for up to 5 to 7 days in Auckland before delivery. I just assumed same day delivery.
I got rung by operations, as the form you have to fill in had my same day delivery response.
" we do not do same day delivery" my response ok well next day would be fine. Again No. I was fuming as I had you transporting my prize Bromeliad collection, rare and hard to get. So sitting in a container for days and Summer would kill them.
So I said when were you planning. They go we have to work it out. Seriously as pick up was next day. Foolishly I had raised getting another container as I only had been enquiring about pick up.
Operations then said they would hold 1st container until 2nd and deliver. Well my anger levels returned and I said do you really think I'm happy paying another $3k for you to deliver both on the same truck when 1st quote was about one truck costs. Told them to forget it I wasnt going to pay $6k and have dead plants delivered.. I was then td they would get back to me on a delivery date for 1st container.
I recieve the call and they would be delivered on the 3rd day. Not happy but nothing I could do.
I then get a call nxt day from driver who tells me he cant deliver that day and that he told operations but would be the following day..(4 days in the container)
So I was deliberately lied to.
In terms of the guys who loaded the container, I have no issues, they worked hard, if anything I felt sorry for them as just a wooden plank to load as I had about 50 big pots some over $500 each. Same when they delivered no issues. Only 1 pot broke which I can accept.
The good news with my 2nd delivery of plants. Is I managed to find another company " Plants on the move" truck set up for plants with removable shelving so able to go up high. Plus next day delivery. This guy was so careful and genuinely concerned that he protected them and no breakage. To the extent he took 4hrs to load. He even put my absolute prize bromeliads 3 of them ( only 2 in the country) in his cab on the passenger seat. Delivery no breakage and no squashed plants.
Conclusion: it should be made very clear no same day and that delivery can take 5 to 7 days. When Rep meets to assess.
Plants can not sit in containers in summer for that length of time. Even if you open the doors.
Dont know if you do that with a truck? Sit in a depot . But if not, like next day delivery then that would be the better option.
I am selling my house so I was on a deadline to remove and redo my existing garden so photographer could come for all the marketing material..Well I ended up delayed 2 weeks.
So No not a happy customer. Being lied to is unacceptable.
We had been advised the truck would be at our house at 10am on the 4th March We had to ring a few times to see what was going on - truck eventually arrived at 1.30pm. Communication from HO would have been useful I am not allowed to drive at night hence our desire to get away by 2pm at latest to get to Taupo before dark.This did not happen unfortunately. We had to ask beighbour to lock up - the truck finally left at 4.45pm. The guys were great but if you cannot communicate with yr customers and keepthem informed then that is poor service.
